Description
Overgrown, decrepit, closed down campground in Danial Boone NF. Camped in the parking lot for a night without being bothered. Other people showed up and accessed the campground. Was spooky as frick in there so we opted for the parking lot. This spot was free.

The campground is closed, but there is a huge parking lot and boat ramp with space for all kinds of vehicles.
The road down to the area is steep, so go slow if you are in a big rig.

Swung by out of curiosity in the daytime. Campground is still closed down due to the Emerald Ash Borer. There is plenty of parking at the boat launch but it's just an open lot. Bathrooms are clean.
Report Check-InI’d rate this site a 8.5/10. It said closed but I believe this is due to flooding, we ended up staying in the lot due to rain and the lot flooded trapping us so be wary of this. We made it out though. Super clean bathrooms, waterfalls all over. Sites super spread out but sadly filled w trash. Super cool view though. Defenelty would reccomend
