Description

parking lot of the hostel. It's also the parking lot for several tour Jeeps and therefore we had to park as close as on a ferry. We also had to move several times to let tour Jeeps out. Very dirty toilets. We previously had a look at Hostal Marith, but we found it even more boarder line. Ride across the Salar de Uyuni. As there was water on the SAlar we did not want to drive our own cars and therefore have booked tour with seven people. The tour included the trip to Isla Pescado, to train cemetery and lunch. Originally 200 Bolivianos / person we bargained to 170 Bolivianos.

We stayed here for two nights, was 70 p/ 2 people and a car without shower. The bathroom was Ok, the place is safe, the WiFi was good and the owners were nice to us. The only problem was the energy, they don’t have a place for us use on the parking lot, so we need to ask them to charge ours cellphone for us.

secure parking in Uyuni to let tour camper where you are out on the salar.
pretty expensive although : we paix 70 bol (after bargaining) only to park for one night and use Wi-Fi. we couldn't use bathroom or shower. and the owner made us pays 5 more bol to fill up 50 liters of water in our tank.
i wouldn't recommand the place only you want a secure parking (to sleep in if needed) where you are out on the salt flat.

Report Check-In

Stayed (and slept) in the parking lot with our small van. Hostel itself is very very basic and without electricity. Positiv to mention is that the parking during the day and night is secure and you don't need to worry about your car when going on a longer tour to the salar. Owners were friendly to us.
