Not exactly a ghost town but close. Very interesting and welcoming though.
you can camp on a large grass field in the middle of town with shady places (in case it's hot!) and there are supposed to be public restrooms.
We were told you can donate, but haven't found out where yet. Very peaceful and a hidden gem off the beaten track!
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Nous y avons passé la nuit seul avec petit VR de 22 pieds. Nous avons visité le village. C’est fantastique. Un don vaut la peine. Environ 4 km de chemin de Gravel, mais se fait bien.
Report Check-InAmazing, clean, friendly, beautiful sunset, the donation box is next the map which show where we can camp, it’s with a great pleasure I gave money for these people who offert us this kind of great camping with shower and toilets
Report Check-Ingreat place to be and can't wait to come back in the future. a highlight of my trip
Report Check-InAmazing place, you like 100 years ago, mistic. Now shower hot available, toilet clean, from 1st september tours closed.
Report Check-InStaying here has been the highlight of my trip! Beautiful, peaceful little ghost town, heaps of areas on the green to set up camp. There is a map showing you where you can and can’t camp. We arrived in the afternoon and spent the evening exploring the area and watched the sunset near the grain silos. The locals look after the area really well so it always looks stunning. Bathroom and shower available but no portable water so come prepared.
Report Check-InSuch a peaceful place for the night! The community here is trying to resurrect this tourist ghost town and is actively supporting campers in many fields around town. There is still a full-time population of 8 people in town so it still feels like a very safe place!
Nice views of the surrounding farmland and there are interesting buildings with antique items around town
There's a donation box at the community hall
Report Check-InBeautiful place to stay, spent here four nights while exploring the region around Drumheller. Camping by donation, donation box is at the public hall in front of the public washrooms. They also start to build showers in the washrooms, should be available next year. Guided town tours available by donation.
Report Check-InGood place to stay overnight, cute ghost town in the middle of nowhere!
Public washroom available.
We stayed one night near the grains elevators tours.
