Bulgaria
Parking on the north side of the river, just opposite and in walking distance of the town center. Sign and barrier (out of order) indicate a parking fee, but police and taxi driver said 'no fee' … and we stayed for two nights, no problem … but also not very quiet (loud music at night)
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Still a lot of place and still free, but also still loud music all night long at Saturday night. However very convenient.
Report Check-InStill free, lots of cars parked. Freely accessible. View on the river
Report Check-InThe parking itself is closed, but as you can see on the picture, there is plenty of space in the shade of chestnut trees.
We parked 22 hours and did not pay anything.
barrier still out of order; we had a quiet night; on sunday morning some craftsmen break down a container building at the entrance;
Report Check-InPlace still vague on payment. There’s an empty and a newish looking sign but we didn’t see anyone pay or have tickets? We parked along the street. It was quiet enough and there was plenty of space. Great location as it’s only a short walk to everything.
Report Check-InA fine place to stay in order to visit this amazing town. Plovdiv has multiple parking facilicities in the inner ring but this one felt safe and spacious. At eve/ night there was some noise from the by-passing cars and locals chilling at the waterside. After 1 AM pretty much quiet.
Report Check-InBig parking lot on the north side of the river, just opposite and in walking distance of the town center. Sign and barrier (out of order) indicate a parking fee, but police and taxi driver said 'no fee' … and we stayed for two nights, no problem … but also not very quiet
