Description

Basic forest campground with drinking water and toilet. 30 CAD for a spot. Seems to be one of the last options if the other campgrounds are full. Nice place in the forest but nothing special either

Latest Check-Ins

Basic camping, no services. We do have wifi at top of hill. $42 cash

Report Check-In

A basic site but at CAD 42 for the 2 of us in June certainly not as expensive as others in the area.

Would certainly use again

Call Glen to get the whole campground to yourself for $20, now that it’s the off season! Drive through the Lost shoe campground to get to Glen’s lost shoe campground. He is closed for the season but if you call him he’ll let you in. Lost shoe is pretty loud but I was also visiting during a long weekend. No services or toilets.

Great campground about 30 minute drive from Tofino, stayed there before the boat trip. Had lots of space free and was a very reasonable $40 for the area for our van. Glen the owner is a legend, offer him a beer or tequila if you have any!

Report Check-In

Really nice owner who runs it. Call him for reservation. The number is +1 250-726-8229 Very welcoming. Quite, private and clean. You have access to drinking water. Good location since it’s between Tofino and Ucluelet.
We also rented surfboards right here. Good price and really nice people.

Report Check-In

$40/night. Outhouses, water tap, no showers. Minimal privacy between sites, and most sites on gravel. But the cheapest place in Tofino and the host was very friendly!

I have stay here for 2 nights. The owner wasn't here but there was a very nice woman, Rene in charged of it. I stay with my tent and there was only another couple.
Rene was super nice and friendly. I have payed $30 por night. There is not much but was safe and peaceful for a solo female traveller :)

Okay, so it’s not the nicest place, but I gets the job done and the prices reflect that. It’s a spot to park where you don’t have to be worries about being towed or ticketed. Didn’t have any trouble sleeping, plenty quiet. The owner is a bit quirky but a nice enough guy. Overall no complaints.

Report Check-In

$32US for RV site. It’s basically a large gravel area with picnic tables and some fire pits along the perimeter. The guy at the Visitor Centre recommended this place and said it’s the only campground with openings. We stayed two nights (Tuesday and Wednesday night) with no issues. Super quiet. Seems people only stay one night. Great central location. The shady part I believe previous people are mentioning is the permanent “campground” RV/tiny house village you drive pass to get to the actual campground. Although that section looks rough the area was quiet and chill. Potable water available just before the sites on the right side.

This place is hell and attracts the worst people in the world. The party never stops. Only stay here if you hate sleeping or are truly desperate. Or love screaming sing a longs at 3am??

Report Check-In

Only campground with spots left! $30 a night with no amenities aside of toilets. The owner (Glen) oversells the spots and you end up with probably twice the amount of vehicules expected. Okay for 1 night if no other options, cheap for Tofino but overpriced for the service offered! Avoid if possible!

Report Check-In

Camping a little noisy but not after 11pm. Really basic for 30$. Table and fire pit. Ok for one night. If you can, we recommend the spot 12, first on the left, the one with the more intimacy.

Watch for bears !!
Ok for a night if other campgrounds are full.

Report Check-In

Ok for a night, big rig ok. No services. It’s a make shift campground 30$ a night

Report Check-In

Really friendly host! Good enough privacy, but only one pit toilet. No shower, no wifi. Water available. Really basic campground but it does the job well! Crows woke us up for the 3 nights we were there, but hey thats camping! Near all the beaches.

Report Check-In

Quiet and nice location, friendly host. Got a space here when everything else was packed. Takes reservations with late check-in until 10pm.

Report Check-In

28$ a night. For Ucluelet okay. There was a large field with some picnic tables. Some campsites on grass, some on rocks. Pit toilet. Friendly camp host and a bear did visit us.

Report Check-In

Stony place. Away from the street. Only one pit toilette. No shower. Fire place at the site. C$ 28 pn.
Sometimes a bear comes to see whether your fridge is closed.☺
