There are tons of free camping options on this portion of Hwy 95 so take your pick. Most of this area is BLM and NRA land. We chose this spot at Lucile right in the hills next to the river. Empty on a Friday night. It's a little close to the road so you can still hear some cars but the sounds of the river help and the highway isn't very busy anyway. Camping up to 14 days. No amenities, so beautiful. Pack in pack out!

Report Check-In2 spots with fire rings and picnic tables. Able to fit in 23 ft travel trailer. Turnaround loop. Walking distance to sandy boat launch area with pit toilets and dumpster. Sounds of river and road. Nice spot.
Report Check-InBeautiful views and nice looking campsite. We stayed for just a few hours to cook and let the dogs run! Had no service with Verizon and there are pit toilets here which was good for emptying my portable toilet tank
Report Check-InWonderful spot! Parked by the river on Sunday night and hardly hear the cars. Don’t forget to take a dip in the water at the boat ramp. Cool and refreshing. Can also get water here.
