Description

One of the most spectacular places we’ve camped at in Brazil. Beautiful fresh water lagoon with cristal clear water and an incredible view of the mountains right in the background. 20 Reais per person to enter. You’d need to ask for permission to camp. To get here follow the dirt road from Rio da Conceiçao for 15km on MapsMe to a house with a tall covered area to your right. Continue on the road for a few meters and turn right following the signs with the red arrows reading Lagoa da Serra for another 10km. 4x4 and high clearance highly recommended. There’s a lot of fine, loose sand. Big rigs won’t be able get through a small wooden bridge and sections with low hanging tree branches. Basic restroom and shower. Not power or other facilities. Totally of the grid. Friendly owners. This place is a real natural gem!
