Description

Great spot with fire ring overlooking incredible views. Only saw one vehicle pass, even though there is a trailhead at the end of FS Rd 663. Did see a black bear cub half mile up the road, so be aware, this is bear country. Site was clean when we arrived, so please help keep it that way. Verizon 4G LTE signal comes and goes.

Came and stayed for the night. Many open spots during the weekday. Washboarded in some spots but manageable if going slow. Beautiful views and beautiful pines. Really enjoyed our stay. Picked up some garbage left behind from other campers. Make sure you do the same!!

Beautiful campsites along FS Rd 663. Some with great views. Clean sites. Just keep going up the well maintained road. Very little traffic.

Come here! Several beautiful spots all along this road with amazing views. My favorite spot was about 4 miles up the road right before the cattle guard. Site is a bit exposed, and might actually just be a pull out, but the 360 views were unmatched. Road is a bit washboarded, but overall in good shape.

Beautiful campsite withplenty of room and a fire ring. Wonderful ponderosa pine Forest. Easy to level with a pickup truck and a 17 ft Casita Trailer

Great campsites all along this road a couple miles in. We had to drive past at least seven other spots because people were already settled there (Memorial Day weekend). We found a beautiful spot underneath three trees with fire pit and a meadow with wildflowers behind us. Another spot was still available if you drove back into the meadow with another fire pit. We didn’t have any cars drive by us after we parked (we parked around 8pm)

Some logging going on but didn't see anything of them. Plenty of places along the road once you get a couple of miles in.
