Peru
There a two hostels in Llahuar. The owner of the Llahuar lodge tries to occupy all the people that arrive in the village. The result is a overcrowded touristic hostel. If you like a more peaceful place with a beautiful garden and the real feeling of a home stay, you should go to Casa de Virginia, which is basicly next doors. You will be almost alone, but it's a wonderful place. The price is 20 soles per person, included access to the hot springs. Meals cost 10 soles and breakfast is 8 soles. The oranges you can pick for free from the trees. Definitely recommended if you don't like to be in between thirty orther tourists!

simple, but cozy accomodation, huge, green yard with hammocks and seating area. Dinner and breakfast (pancakes) are delicious and well prized. Wifi works well too!
good base to continue your hike in either direction at the Canyon, highly recommended!
Came without reservation, just two couples were here. Paid 25/person with breakfast included (tea/coffee, two thick pancakes with jam and banana). Room is austere, just a bed and a plastic chair, but very comfy sleeping, plus there s a socket for charging, so enough for us. Garden is lush and the view is indeed great, hammocks to relax. Only one of the thermal pools had water. Shared bathrooms with hot water from solar panels. Dinner is 16sol, very good, hearty soup and lomo saltado. We enjoyed it, recommend. Can pay with credit card btw.
Report Check-Ingreat hostel in Llahuar, nice alternative to the more frequented Llahuar lodge. amazing garden full of trees, flowers and fruit. the view from the seating area is just breathtaking. small and warm thermal baths to relax after the hike (only drawback is they do not face the canyon). simple but good dinner, breakfast is a bit light though.
Report Check-Inlots of outdoor seating areas with hammocks, the thermal baths were quite small but there weren't many people staying (most people seemed to stay at llahuar Lodge instead) so we had them all to ourselves which was really nice. it was 40 solsfor the room without breakfast, I just messaged them on watsapp to book, and dinner was 15 (just simple rice chips and egg and avocado).
Report Check-InGreat little hostel nestled at the bottom of Colca Canyon. Was able to drive the car almost the entire way, and park it in the village on the opposite side of the bridge. Stayed two nights, very chill place. Can use the hot springs at will. There's an incredible day hike to Cataratas de Huaruro vía Fure as well.
Report Check-Inamazing place, one of our favourites in south America. spent 3 nights here, dinner for 12 is a soup, main (something different every night and you can just ask if you want something else, they are very accommodating) and tea. matrimonial is a simple cottage with amazing views of the canyon. 50 with breakfast (pancakes and jam). dorm for 15. cute puppies here, chickens and fresh oranges/chilis/herbs from the garden. owners are lovely with good tips.
Report Check-InGreat place. ended up chilling here a few days.
lunch is 6s and dinner is 12s.
