Pull off before you enter the park. You will get some scratches but the road opens up to a small meadow. Room for maybe 2 cars and only one rig.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Nice little grassy spot with view of the mountains. The road down is pretty narrow but perfectly fine for small rv‘s or camper vans. There’s even a fire pit 😉
Report Check-InBeautiful place just outside the park. Great for maybe two cars or one big rig. Guaranteed some scratches on your car as you come down. Highway and train noise.
Report Check-InGreat small spot in the forest but close to the road so very noisy. Private, good views, not to many skeeters in July, level, fire pit, no cell service. Road in is narrow, we are about 6ft wide camper van and scrubbed sides but nothing damaging. Large enough for 2 vans comfortably.
Report Check-InNo herbicide sign. Can hear a bit of highway. Mozzie around, but not much with heavy rain.
Report Check-InStopped here and there was a sign at the entrance to the clearing that said something like, 'Herbicide use. Do not use area for next 24 hours'. The date and other info wasn't filled in though so I suspect someone is just trying to discourage camping. We opted to find another site rather than risk it though
Report Check-Inas described small clearing, enough for 3 vans at most, secluded from highway though still get noise, nice mountain views, path in is tight but otherwise fine
Report Check-InGreat place for the night. All the other descriptions hold true as of our visit. The road down to the parking area is narrow and growing narrower by the day. Expect to have branches dragging down the sides of your vehicle for a 100 meters or so.
Report Check-InWe slept there with our sprinter 23 foot and it was great.
Nice view on Mount Robson
An other camper van was there and there was still room.
Exploravan, du Québec au Costa Rica!
Really a nice spot, second time I come here and thanks everybody! Still clean. The road is really fine even if you don’t have hight clearance. But it’s narrow with the tree, don’t come if you are bigger than a sprinter. At the end, if we are well parked, 5 vans can come easy! Otherwise it will trouble to turn back. Yes we ear the road, but better here than the previous spot which are direct on the highway. Our dogs can be free. No cell service. And great view
Report Check-Inun peu étroit pour notre sprinter, mais ça passe
nous étions 2 véhicules.
pas plus car l'espace pour virer est restreint au bout
Wonderful views with a lot of open space! Next to Hwy which causes some noise but still enough distance that my dog could wander without stress. 6 minute drive to to the mount robson visitor center and a bunch of hikes over there
Report Check-InNice to find such a secluded-feeling place right off the highway. Flat-ish area surrounded by mountains. Large enough for a group but it would start to feel small quickly if many cars were here. Expect some highway noise but it's also far enough from the road that my dogs could be free.
Report Check-Innice spot. not much more than a grassed area with a man made firepit. amazing view and close to robson/jasper
Report Check-InNice spot worth a couple days to hike the area. fire pit and room for multiple vehicles and easy access for even low clearance.
Report Check-Innice little spot with great mountain views, lots of mosquitoes but all good, place for a few cars, van hits some smaller branches on the way in, private, a bit of road/train noise but not bad! nice spot 9 minutes from mt Robson, with fire pit
Report Check-InA quiet little spot. The path is on Google maps, but easily missed on the highway. The road seems to go further than the camp spot, but is overgrown. When I was all set up, a BC Gov NRO/CO truck did a spot check but didn't stay. Mosquitoes were there but didn't concern me through the night. I love reception off the highway.
Report Check-Intiny hole in the side of hwy and down a narrow road 100 yards. great spot!
Report Check-InBeautiful scenic place. We stayed one night and enjoyed the sunset. We were not bothered by the street.
Report Check-Init's a nice place if you want to explore the park, come late and leave early. during the day it's pretty loud, you can hear the road clearly. busy but big enough so that everyone could stay there
Report Check-InNice view, great spot, noisy at night, we meet here alot travelers, slow internet in visitor center wifi, code in picture
Report Check-InGreat spot, very quiet even if you hear a little the train, great view over the mountains, enough space for various tents or vehicles, hidden from the road, big fire pit... Recommended! It can be difficult for big rigs to turn around...
Report Check-InThere is an additional spot for a small self-contained vehicle about 1/2 way down the dirt two track to the main area. Worth considering if it’s packed in the main area. Amazing views across the valley especially at dusk.
Report Check-InMountain Overlook (need 4x4)
This is a little bit of a climb but if you have a 4x4 (2 wheel drive in dry conditions) the view is worth the drive. Not real flat so we had to prop some large rocks under a couple wheels to level the spot out as best we could. Some mosquitos in June but not as bad as many other areas.
Report Check-InAs described! Great hidden away little spot, coordinates are bang on. Clearly a popular spot close to the parks, 3 other vehicles were there too but there’s plenty of room.
Report Check-InTiny gravel track off the highway with great views of the mountains. Enough space for a 4 or 5 vehicles.
Report Check-Insuper great spot. be carefull of the branches, the path is not perfectly clear. Amazing view You can hear the road but still feel isolated, i could let my dog play around freely !
Report Check-InNice spot, amazing view, fire pit, away from the road, you can hear the train but didn’t bother us.
