Description

Haven't stayed here yet but there are no signs saying not to. This is where the bridge to nowhere is located also so, there might be traffic coming to see it during the day. There are no facilities at all here. Just a dead end road with beautiful views. Space for a Class B car/truck/van camper. A small Class c might be able to fit. NOT a location for a Class A or larger Class C.

Not safe at all!!! The little road is a dead end, about 3 miles in the middle of nowhere. When we arrived there, there were 2 cars with people talking together. What is the idea? There's nothing to see, no house around. On the ground little bottles of alcool, a shoe, some kleenex... not for us!

Green flies in summer will eat you alive.

As described nice peaceful place surrounded by wetlands. Number of pulloffs on the way out, good road, full ATT service. No other campers only one car passed by in the evening.

Stayed here two nights. Came in late both nights(12am one and 9pm the other) when I came in at 9(Friday night) some people still hanging around but left shortly after. Some other people came at random times (11pm and 3am) but other than that a quiet and safe night. Would stay again but definitely feel like it’s a spot you want to come in late. Road isn’t too bad to the end. Couple small turnouts before the end if you don’t wanna go the full way.

I spent the night. It was comfortable at night with a breeze. People coming and going. Some people crabbing. The biting flies were bad. Beautifusunsbitifliewere bad. I would go again. Lo

Drove in after dark, was a little spooked about the other cars that were driving around on this road that late, as it really goes nowhere. We were worried they were patrolling. But finally we just parked and lay down. A car or two parked kind of near us and just did their thing and left later. No trouble! Once the sun came up, we saw how truly beautiful it was.
We even thought we saw the lady with the German shepherds from the other review but instead of menacing, she kind of just seemed like she was walking her dogs in the morning somewhere pretty! TLDR beautiful spot, ended up chill, but had some anxiety.

Nice place. Hard road. No problem overnight

Very quiet place in the evening. Stayed 1 night, but didn't go to the end of the road as the pot holes are very deep. In the morning a truck that had an electrical company on the back window parked near us on what seemed like not a good place to park (not off the road enough). Then his wife and himself came out with two large German Shepherds and started walking back toward the main road. As the man walked passed our van he took pictures of our van as he visually inspected (he took a minute as he took the case off the phone). We left about 20 minutes later as we were already up and as we passed his wife, I could see her glaring at me as if we were on her property. As we passed the husband (he was further ahead) he didn't seem like he was a van friendly person.

New Jersey experiences on the way here:
-stopped at a Walmart to stay, asked the service desk and said we could stay for an hour even if we were shopping, otherwise we would be towed. I told the gal that our van was a normal sized car, she said make it snappy and get on your way. Very Rude.

Turkey Swamp campground wouldn't let us pay to fill our water unless we paid $40.00 to camp (no other options). It was 10pm.

Conclusion, New Jersey has a lot of pollution, garbage and most univiting people, ranked 47th in the country for most friendly. Fortunately, we can head to another state:)

This is a great spot for the night. Rather quite, and you have a gorgeous sunset! The road is an absolute nightmare though, lot of cracks and holes, we did it with a Dodge Grand Caravan but it didn't go so well! Beware, lot of agressive flies!

Very nice dead end road, surrounded my saltwater marsh (I think). Miles from any buildings.
