Right off of HWY 68 about a 5 minuet drive you will find Coopers Rock Archery Range. It is a very large parking area in the woods. I put a video here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ePswU-4Tcc on my "LivingFree365" Youtube channel. Great Location! No amenities but, there is a hiking trail you can go down. Great place to get off the highway for the night. We stayed there and seen no vehicles all night.

Update: the cops came. They were very nice. On our way out we stopped by the WVU (who own the property) and they said they do not allow anyone to stay here overnight. Everyone was polite but now we are going to stay at a Walmart. They do have a campground right across the road but it does cost money.
Report Check-InWe stayed here one night. It was so nice and quiet! Lots of gravel in the lot and plenty of room to turn around.
Report Check-InGravel parking lot. Maybe a couple of miles from the main road. The road to the lot is fine. Paved. Quiet spot. Nice trail right nearby. Came here on a Sunday afternoon in early October. One other hiker here. What more could you possibly want?
