Road is extremely bumpy coming in. Winds can get very high here during stormy weather and sand can get soft in rain. I don’t recommend coming here on a stormy night
Report Check-InYes, there are signs that say no overnight camping, but I parked here to enjoy the beach for the evening and talked to 3 different locals, all of whom said absolutely no one would bother me there.
It was the most perfect place to camp. Truly idyllic landscape, so quiet and secluded.
Please respect the space and leave it nicer than you found it so it can remain an option!
This beach is No Camping, signs are posted if people take the time to look around. It is nesting grounds for endangered birds.
Report Check-InBy far exceeded my expectations, the view is amazing, right on the beach with mountains and water all around you. We’re here in off season which helps with how private it feels. Slept here alone, though some locals have passed by in the evening before sunset. There are 0 amenities but still a great spot
Report Check-InLike said before, doesn’t matter what the local wishes are. This is crown land. I myself am a local and use this spot regularly to camp in my truck when kayaking. My wishes are that anyone who is responsible and respectful of the land to enjoy it as they please.
Report Check-InThis area is Provincial crown land. Legally one is allowed to camp here regardless of the wishes of the local people. Having said that some may wish to respect their wishes that you don’t stay overnight.
Report Check-InWe saw no signs about camping or parking. I talked to 4 different locals all said parking here is fine, but don’t leave litter.
We were joined by an RV and a van.
This place was amazing! Atlantic Ocean beach on one side, marina beach on other side. We walked the Atlantic Ocean side, but swam the marina side. We parked right in front of the Atlantic Ocean beach.
*beware* sand in parking lot is soft. Two cars got stuck that tried to turn around. We parked on the gravel section up top next to beach and backed out.
No services, garbage, and 1 bar LTE with Weboost.
We stayed here overnight because we found the place on free campsites and it wasn’t until the next morning we saw it was marked closed on here. There weren’t any no camping signs... and there was someone tenting. So it might actually be open? But we got in late, probably 9pm and left at 8am. So maybe we just missed the locals. Anyway it was an alright spot. Sandy road near the end so we couldn’t make it all the way down with our rig. Which also made it hard to turn around when we wanted to head back. But our 18ft rig could manage.
Report Check-Inbeautiful place. the last km to get there is very bumpy, but worth it. quiet and nice view of ocean and mountains, and sunrise. even.sunset is pretty.
police drove by in the evening, but did not say anything.
some locals were here in the evening and morning.
Beautiful little spot! We stayed for one night, bit of a bumpy dirt road to get there but we were all good in the RV. Lake on the one side and the beach/sea on the other. Recommend getting up and watching the sunrise as well!
Report Check-InProbably one of the best place we stayed during our little trip! Amazing view directly near by the ocean.
