Kenya
Loud music staff quarters from 9pm till 6 am.
Public campsite inside the National Park. Large uneven grassy area with several picnic benches and fire pits, enclosed by forest. Couple of standpipes to supply water and a bin for biodegradable rubbish.
Rundown camp with dirty long drop toilet. Supposedly has showers available and the building looked in good condition- but it was padlocked when we were there! Even the kitchen in the Boma is locked with pad locks. Perhaps if you are planning to camp here you should specifically ask when entering the main gate that someone comes to open up.
Cost is US$20pppn + park entry fees ($26pppn & KSH300 per vehicle).

The environment is amazing but .....
Whole night loud music from the staffquarters
We paid 92 USD en 300KES roadtax for 1 night under the stars. As reported to manager AD Chege the camp is completely rundown. Roadsign is missing, high unlevel grass. Boma with kind of small kitchen closed with padlocks. Toilet disgusting dirty longdrop. Shower coldwater no showerhead.
Two animals with a strap around the neck.
Report Check-Inentrance fee 26USD pp per 24h, 20USD pppn for campsite and 300 KES tax car. Booking in advance by the website en payments only online. Wildcamp not allowed.
Report Check-InLovely quiet campsite. Large grassy field, but level spots for RTT are a premium.
Ablutions clean and available. Running water from two taps.
Comes complete with Bushbuck and Water buck. When raining 4x4 is required, especially to get to the main road.
Peaceful campground, very large grassy under mature trees. Flushing toilets and cold showers in clean tiled facilities. Padlocked but just ask for the keys at the gate or HQ
