looks informal. place with atv's in front of the old entrance. you sleep between the geese.

Report Check-In

Great spot if you want to get in early to Arenal. Shower is disgusting and is in their house but I felt cleaner afterwards :) The dogs give you a bit of agro when they forget you are staying there but it’s the goose you need to look out for. Bring a stick if you have a late night loo trip.

The owner is just super nice! We were with a roof tent on our 4x4 (which is better since the grass was wet) and we could park in his property (typical farm). All the family was here and was also super nice!
We paid 3000 colonnes pp and could use their own shower. They have separate toilets that are OK. Good experience, certainly better if we could have spoken better Spanish to exchange with them :)

the owner is very nice. we arrived at 6:30 pm in the dark and he helped us to choose the perfect place to park the car. a lot of friendly animals (dogs and farms animals). the place is in front of the Arenal park entrance. perfect to visit the park after a good night.

Report Check-In

Ok for one night, owner is very friendly. Toilets not the best but ok. Paid 3000cc pp. You will wake up at 5/5:30 due to serveral loud roosters...

Report Check-In

Nice flat grassy campsite. Lots of dogs around and some farm animal noise in the morning, but not too bad. Bathrooms next door at the info point, no showers. Nice owners, helped us with our dead battery in the morning. We paid 3000C (5USD) per person.

very nice campground, with animals (farm). we get there by night (7 pm), so the NP' car park across the road was closed. Owner is very nice. Toilets are good, but we didn't find shower. lot's of birds, shadow from tree in the morning, nice dogs, flat area, ... ! and we paid 5000 for 2 pax.

Report Check-In

Friendly owner. Quite open/exposed patch of land near the road. Be prepared for lots of animal noise in the night. We managed to hang two hammocks between trees. 2500 colones each.

Report Check-In

costs 10$/night, but its not worth it, grass is muddy, toilets and showers are in the house of the owner and in bad condition, lots of noise around because of the quad track next to the house, owner was friendly but all the other people around were strange

Report Check-In

Super nice owners and a big grassy area to Camp on. 5 USD pP, clean toilets & showers (just next to the toilets). No mobile internet Connection (movistar).

Report Check-In

Friendly family property, paid 2500 CRC per person for the night. Decent flush toilets and a sink to wash up. Large property to camp, ground was very soggy when we were there.

Report Check-In

PROS: convenient access for the National Park, lots of farm animals around – CONS: bathrooms are pretty grimy, we were told there were showers but never found them, things get started pretty early on the farm so be prepared for an early wake-up call – 5 USD/person/night
