As others described. I would add in refreshing swim in clean lake water. Also, I found two posts with half inch water pipe capped off. Possibly a water system for houses below but no way to tell and difficult to use without half-inch female valve. I also notable fair size group of people partying at houses below.

Report Check-In

Beware, it gets a bit rowdy on weekends. Weekdays are fine.

Amazing. Beautiful. 10/10. Worth the hour and a half to two hour drive if you plan on staying for more than a day or two. So stalk up on your food and water before you head here…it was a trek. The dirt road was bumpy but any 2WD car could do it. Saw a lady Moose wandering around the site this morning. Great finishing in the lake. Verizon service works well enough at night to stream movies but during the day for work it’s a bit spotty. Works really well one minute and doesn’t work at all the next. But we’ve managed for 4 days so far so it can be done.

This place is wonderful for anyone who loves dispersed camping that is not off the side of a forest service road. We got a site facing the lake. Perfect for the VW van. The camp ground has roughly 8 sites and is only half full. Warning that Google maps will take you down a crazy forest road if coming from south. Recommend you ignore and come in from north side of lake. yshould
