Nice spot but used frequently by the locals during the day. Did not get quiet until after 11pm on a Friday night, but even still a lot of trucks drove by slowly throughout the night.

Report Check-In

Spot is not suitable for tent: gravel, wet, no gras, humid, to close to the water

Nice spot beside the river, no signs but across from a home on the other side of the street.
there is a trash can and lots of room for your own table and a simple setup.

Please be quiet and respectful tful of the neighbours

it is anough large for a big rig. tonight we are 4 rv here : two cars with tent on top, a van and a camper truck. very calm, river on one side and private property on the opposite.

Looks is beautiful. River right there. Birds playing in the wind. Quiet. Very nice!

found this spot really handy when we needed to do stuff in smithers, sunsets from here were amazing! no toilet but trash cans and flat parking. lots of people used this spot for a night.

Quiet place at the river.
Garbage can for tourist use.
Some other cars parked here.

In front of a house near river side. We didn't stay.

We slept here with 3 others RV ,at 3 minutes from the city. parking between road and river ! Big light in front of the parking the night. Not disturbing with curtains !

We stayed 3 nights at this great spot right on the river. It’s busy during the day with fishermen and dog walkers but we had the parking lot to ourselves 2 of fhe 3 nights. The last night we arrived late and there were 4 other overlanders there all from different places. Argentina, Germany, Quebec and BC. The Fall Fair was happening so likely that’s why it was so busy.
Gotta love this IOverlander community!

Lovely riverside spot with a great mountain view. Super quiet. Couple other campers there. On the outskirts of a residential area right next to people’s houses, so be considerate. Smithers is super friendly to travellers, lets keep it that way! :)

We stopped here for one night in our Class B. There were 3 of us parked for the night. This was a nice stop; it is a short parking spot, so small rigs only, right on the river. Trash bin was available.

What a nice, quiet spot for a night. And so beautiful!

Nice little place to get some sleep along a river - quiet with a nice view of snow capped mountains - depending on when you’re there. We crashed here for the night while traveling up to Hyder Alaska and a night on our way back from Alaska.

Report Check-In

Nice view but the river is pretty dirty. Would be good to pull in and sleep overnight at, but not great if you got there in the afternoon and planned to camp/cook dinner etc. We had lunch, then went to Twin Falls instead.
