Just before you go down a 16% grade, there is a pullout. Amazing view of the ocean and when we were here the gannets were putting on an air show. This spot is very close to the road but at night there is no traffic and it is quiet.

I don't recommend using this site as it is protected by Unesco Heritage. Rule states that no motorized vehicle is allowed.

Over all the site itself was nice.
But I do not recommend driving the Irish loop. There’s not that much to do and see but the speed limits are brutal and the main highway is not maintained at all.
