We were going towards Campeche. There was a police stop, but they didn’t stopped us.

Asked for Drivers license and demanded a Mexican DL! Which there is no such thing, they usually start by asking for your plate.
There is also a 2nd check point after the Pemex..

They had us pull over, looked at the license plate, sent us on on our way. We're unsure of whether they determined British Columbia as being Canadian, or Colombian lol.
