additionally to my last comment. the place was not cleaned since the last visitors left and as there might be a donkey boiler for the warm water we were not offered any wood . we think this place is a bit overpriced though it would have so much potential as the location is nice . we are sitting right next to the water but unfortunately can't see I as the reeds are high

Report Check-InBasic little campsite with friendly owner. There is a lot of birdlife, the camp is directly at the Hudup river and there is still water in it. Unfortunatly you can‘t see the river properly because it is overgrown. Because of the river, there are mossis and „tree-rats“ or mice? The wind pomp is making noise. 150 $ pP
Report Check-InNice little campsite plus 2 chalets along a small river. Felt like Caprivi with all the reeds and birds. Came after a lot of rain so the river was quite full. Basic facilities but everything working well. Friendly owner. Enjoyed my one night there as a stopover.

Campsite is close to the river, where we still found water end of September. Lots of birds and frogs.

The Hudup Camp is a nice camp especially for birding. It is located near the Hudup River 15 km east of Maltahoehe. They offer sites for tents, cars and big rigs. You can also rent 2 chalets with 4 beds, bathroom and kitchen for self catering. Braai is possible too.
