15-20mins walk away from the Village Centre which is why parking is free. Sign said NO Parking Nov 1st -March 31 - double check for youself. Slept here 2 nights w/o issues. There were other van conversions and sleep in the car campers like myself. Down side is not on an even ground at some stretch due to limited available space on the side of the road - example: half of driver' side is on pavement and the passenger' side on grave. It's only a few degrees tilt so it is not that horrible. There are other Free parking around the corner. WiFi is Shaw no guess. food/washroom/water/electricity is 15-20 to the Centre
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
All overnight stays in the vehicle are prohibited in Whistler. Someone told on us and a officer let us go with a one time warning. Nice guy but next time there would be a fine.
Other than that we had a good nights sleep here.
Would park here again for the day as it’s close to the City.
Report Check-InSlept here 2 nights first night no problem, this morning the bylaws came, they were super chill but it’s a one time warning
Report Check-InWe parked here in a car camper for three nights. The spot is fairly quiet and we were not bothered at all during our time there. The shoulder of the road is not even so you have to sleep on a slanted surface, but other than that it's a nice spot
Report Check-InWe spend here one night and didn't get disturbed by anyone. Was totally okay. Gut the road wasn't really even but still okay to sleep for a night.
Report Check-InGood spot for a night or two. Was really busy with other overnighters and people just using it as a park over night. Saw an RV stay the night, not sure how wide would be too wide though
Car noises driving past didn’t bother us at all
Report Check-InSlept here 3 night without any issues. it is not level so great but if you can manage it is very close to the city!
Report Check-Inno problem sleeping there. car pass by but didnt have an issue with it. no that level but well place works
Report Check-InStayed two nights mid week in May. Yes cars fly past but traffic was light. It’s still just a back street. Bit of a downhill slope so had to change sleeping position accordingly and we were in an rv so also had to factor in how far in the slope of the ditch we go to be out of way but still functional for the fridge. Would still recommend though, we didn’t get bothered and since free overnight parking doesn’t seem to exist anywhere around Whistler and don’t want to pay $70+ a night! in the campground it was fine.
Report Check-InAs described, and I’m thankful this was here. I’ve never been to this area and arrived late at night and couldn’t find any street parking prior to this.
My only ‘concern’ on this road was I heard vehicles driving up the road pretty fast later into the night and descending down the hill rather fast. Not a huge deal but it’s always nerve racking to be parked on a busy road. My van was hit (while I was in bed) by a speeding drunk driver on the side of a 25 mph toad in California once.
