Road still closed as of 5/24/21. Room to park before it closes but I wouldn't since plowing is still happening.
Report Check-InNice spot to stay overnight, 2nd parking lot is quiet, board info mentions overnight parking allowed at trail head.
Report Check-InLot of parking lots, pit toilets and picnic benches, just pass the first parking lot and the one for rvs then you get to a nice and quiet place, a ranger is checking from morning till 8pm, thereafter you will be fine, still no signs about overnight camping, but there is a poster on which the rules for the national park and forests are described, camping just in designated areas, but these are no news
