Description

Night in the parking lot above the Balnearios (free). To use the Balnearios a 30 or 50 Lempira / person admission fee must be paid. The Balneario is made very appealing, has great hot pools and toilets. The parking for the car was not ideal, because we had the feeling that half the population of the village was walking by at night. Good base to visit the pottery village of La Campa (about an hour drive).

Turned up here at 6pm on Christmas Day, after failing to get into Celaque park as it was already closed. The place was completely rammed! Hung out in the hotel carpark enjoying the free WiFi provided by the very friendly member of staff, and went in at 10 30pm or so - lovely baths, with cold outdoor showers if you feel the need afterwards. Everybody from staff to guests were very friendly (I was promptly adopted by a local family and asked to teach them all to swim!). Peaceful sleep in the carpark afterwards

Arrived here on a week day. it was nice and quiet until 7-8 pm when the bus load of kids came. At 10 pm they all left. Around 10:30 pm the music was off, and it got nice and quiet.
I forgot to ask for a senior discounted ticket price of 35L. Do not forget if are are 60+.
I parked and camped in the top most hotel lot in my RTT, no problems. Stayed 3 nights here. Friday night got really busy.

We stay here 2 nights, we parked above the entry of the pool, by this way we were quiet and we could enjoy WiFi. The entry is still 50L for adults and 10L for children. We paid only once keeping our bracelets. Only negative point the music is really loud and he left it until midnight. Even on weekdays it is crowded, especially after 8 PM, whole buses come here.

Great spot to relax and get clean at the same time. We camped in the lot closest to the hotel and had a lovely night after we cleaned up a bit of garbage. We kept our admission bracelets on thru the night so we could enter the pools again in the morning for some yoga another soak and a shower!
Admission 50 L per adult. 35L if you are “ elder” ( 60 +)
A great spot. We liked it

We arrived at 6pm on Sunday and it was very busy. You can still park in the upper lot but it was almost full and buses coming in and out. We asked the hotel security guard just above the public parking if we could park in his lot and he happily said yes, no problem. This was great considering the pools are open until 12am (crazy!!) and people are coming and going all night long! We waited until the next morning to bathe in the pools and had them completely to ourselves from 7-9 am. 50L per adult. We slept quite well despite the crazy all night traffic and had a great soak the next day. Just tip the hotel security guy and park up higher!

Entrance is 50L, not anymore after 5pm discount. I tent camped in the parking area, not possible inside. In the evening during a weekday, it was quite busy but not crowded

Everything as stated. We really enjoyed this place. We spent 5 days here, the staff are friendly, food vendors around if you need, clean bathrooms, outdoor shower if needed. Pools are super clean spring fed, and amazing to sneak in early and enjoy without anyone else. It did get VERY busy sometimes and one day 6 school buses full of people spent most of the day inside. But you can enter ans exit at your leisure and use the pools as much or as little as you wish. Cooler temp evenings were also a treat for sleeping.

Nice place of hot springs, very clean water, free parking there is a space where you can park and spend the night there are many security cameras and friendly people. To enter the hot springs you must pay $2 (50 lempiras) / adult and $0.50 (10 lempiras) children, they have free high-speed Wi-Fi (termales2022) that you get a signal from the parking lot, they have bathrooms and showers, during the week it is very quiet, but on the weekend many people come. also a restaurant where you can buy typical food for 5/7$, we spent 4 days here and had a great time. The town of Gracias, Lempira is 10 minutes away, it has an old fort and a lot of history, a historic church.

Clean water and beautifully kept, entrance is 50 lempiras. Lots of trees and affordable. We parked on the dirt lot and even though that the place is open until 11:00 pm we were not disturbed by other people. We only wake up by the noise of the birds and some dogs barking. Would recommend to have a coffee and tipical breakfast at the hotel above and ask the wifi password since there is no cellphone signal.

The hot springs are really cool and celan

Dry camping inside gated complex (with guard). Beautiful setting, clean pools and grounds. In fact they are constantly cleaning. We were there on a weeknight and it got busy in the last few hours, with buses of people coming in, but atmosphere was still very relaxed. We think the price goes down from 50 to 30 lempira after 5 pm. 50 was a fantastic deal as it was! Parked above the main lot. Nice staff.

Very nice place to relax for a day. Think it can get busy over a weekend. Worth the stop!

great place, enough space to park, quiet, save, we stayed 2 nights, entry to the hot swimming pools 50 l.

Stayed this night in the dirt lot above the slanted parking, much flatter. Free to park for the night but we paid the L30 per person for entrance to the pools, which got us entry for the evening and the morning. Great temperature in the pools for night and early morning. The pools are open til midnight so there is a rowdy night crew at the pools until later. Expect to see various police with automatic weapons coming and going late at night if you are out. We had our windows open for venting, felt safe, and had no problems even though there was a herd of men drinkin beer in the lot til wee hours. The morning is the best, we had the entire place, three main pools to ourselves. The workers were all very friendly, showed us where to get water from an outside faucet. Recommended for low budget boondock over landers.
