Bike tourer. Not a bad spot for 100 Lp.She wouldn't let me camp for some reason? Not initially welcoming but came around.Seemed like she was having a bad day.Would make nice camp site if she let me.Shame the compost heap is right next to the kitchen.Worth a night stop.

Great place to stay! Roli and his wife are very welcoming. I can’t understand all the bad reviews.
Shower and toilets are good. Fast Wifi, even in the car. We paid 160lrp for 2 per night.
They have (at the moment) a baby Rottweiler, which you’ll love. Be aware of the pair of geese, they are better than every guard dog 😂

Place it's okay. Staff, another story. We were greeted by the owner's wife who was in a terrible mood. Firstly she said that the hostel was full and there was only a double room available. I let her know of her bad mood to what she said was that he hostel was flooded the night before and suddenly the hostel was not full anymore but flooded. It's not my problem that he place was flooded but don't lie to clients. I would've been more understanding if she had come up with the truth. She kicked us out. It was the middle of a hurricane so I spoke with the owner and finally stars because there was no other option. Go somewhere else.

Great place to stop after crossing the border from Guatemala, or if you want to hesitate before leaving Honduras! We stayed two days and were made very welcome, even helped with a local phone call as there are no public phones in Omoa. Enjoy a Honduran beer in one of the many beach front restaurants, watching the sun set and relax. The scenery is beautiful. The town small but loved it. Do Not miss the Fortaleza San Fernando.

We talked to owner and he said there is no room for truck campers. Just room for small van if his other van is not there. Felt like he just didn't want us there. Said there is basically no camping in all of Honduras. Sent us away, said to try a restaurant closer to border.

Beautuful hostal where you can camp with your rig. We paid 160 L. The place is managed and owned by a Swiss guy Rolli and his hondurian spouse. They are incredibly nice and helpful. They also own a cacao plantation and we got a tour from Rolli. Rolli has been overlanding the world in the past for 6 years, so he understands how overlanders think! There is a very nice fort with excellent explanation about the pirates and the colonial history. Also the wifi is very fast! Rolli also helped put doing some works on the car!! In fact a real haven un paradise where you can rest and enjoy

Extremely nice green paradise with comfy double rooms with private bathroom for L250. Roli the owner is a very nice guy and even helped me with some work on motorbikes. Town itself is run down and the only sight is the San Fernando fort which is very close to Roli's place. Plenty of seafood restaurants, too. Again if you are close and need a good resting place this is it!
