best spot to visit Calakmul in the early morning.
Paid 100 pesos to park near the restaurant and were asked 800 pesos to be taken by car to Calakmul and visit the ruins.
It's impossible and forbidden to go to Calakmul with your own rig.
The place is quiet noisy due to the proximity of the road.

As described. No amenities, no atmosphere, great location. Dirt parking lot, right on the highway - just minutes to Calakmul entrance and short drive to bat cave. 150 pesos for 2 people, 27’ class A and a jeep. Restaurant menu has no prices listed :). Food was pretty good. Nice owners.
Report Check-In$300 pesos for a night, no services, but a good location for exploring the area. We'll report on food after lunch!

Visited this place 1 nov 2018 . Price is 70 p per person .
As oir truck is too high ( 3.60m ) to go to Calakmul ruines ,we decided to ask for transport . The daughter of the restaurant owner brought us to the ruins for 850 p . The road condition is really not bad comparing with Soith America and Africa , but too many low hanging trees .
Report Check-InPerfect place to spend one night waking up early in the morning to go to Calakmul. Just near the road, next to the restaurant, large space to put your camioneta. 50 pesos per vehicule. Good and simple restaurant.
Report Check-Inspent 4 nights. good place, good people. it's a tourist restaurant.. so the food sucks. there are folks in town selling good food, just don't eat at the restaurants on the highway. 50 pesos a night for the whole family.
Report Check-InGood simple place and very cheap. Little noise on the road but good to stay here for visit the amazing calakmul ruins !
Report Check-InWe camped on a large grassy field, next to the restaurant, not visible from the street. We can not recommend the food in the restraurant, but it seems they don't expect you to eat there.
