Description

NFS has established free campgrounds down this road. We only went as far as camp spot 2, which was over 2 miles in on the dirt road and it was fantastic. right next to the creek and great wide open secluded area. 14 day limit. No amenities, and no 4G in the area.

Latest Check-Ins

Nice quiet place alongside the river.
Sloping, flat, easy place to park even the longest rigs.

Report Check-In

We ended up not staying here since it was full, but good to note that between mile 5ish to 10 we didn’t see any sites. Before that we saw 3 sites (and a campground we did not check out since it was over a small bridge and we are a 24ft Rv and didn’t feel comfortable). If you are a low clearance vehicle you may have difficulty at a few of the 3 sites we saw.

We camped in the second site up this road. You can only camp at marked sites. There is a fire pit and the spot was right by a creek, even sort of a little sand beach! Very quiet and peaceful - this is a great spot! Getting down to the camp spot was a little bumpy but doable if you go slow.
