200 pppn for camping. Bed in dorm 300. Jammed together with other campers half a meter apart. Overall the facilities are nice to relax in. Loud sex from 2-3 am, other campers complained during the night. The staff said that their hands were tied. No discount offered. Even without our one off bad experience it is too expensive for what is offered in my opinion and I would not camp here again.

after a bad experience at other camping ground that wanted to over charge.
Here at the hostel close to supermarket, they helped with address for Sim Card & how to get.
breakfast is super, was put in tent not dorm because of personal issues, but tent was so much better & more private.
pool looked nice but since getting things done so could travel on did not use. there tours as well looked good..staff super friendly & helpful

Breakfast was very nice. We did not like the only room which was free (too dark and not comfortable). Therefore we left the place after one night. However this place seems to be very popular.

I would not recommend this place if you are in a tent. You pay 180 pp to stay on tiny patch of artificial grass - I genuinely had more space camping next to the main stage at Glastonbury, and my fellow campers were cleaner (see
photos).

Positives: nice pool area, good location, fast WiFi and excellent breakfast included. Negatives: expensive, some of the dorms don’t have fans and are boiling, some staff are rude, very strict no noise past 10pm.

Nice enough place to meet some travelers, camping is for small tents only so don’t bother with a car or campervan. They do a lot here; tours, overlanding with their own trucks, airport transfers, every night a meal you can join for NAD80 only, well run, clean and welcoming for independent travelers needing some company!

Hi there , of you don't know anything of Namibia and you are obviously arriving in Windhoek , than Chameleon is the best way to start , pick up at Airport and there you go !
All is there beds in dorms , camping , luxury suites , wifi free , breakfast included , nice stuff , ask them anything !
Super clean and organized and not expensive , even food available each day , pizza , braai , potjie etc ( no food sundays )

Newbies and longtherm experts , all kinds
Chameleon packpackers also offers , safaris , day trips and carrental !

A relaxing oase to rewind or get going

Have options for dorm, private room and couple of spots to put your tent.
Very clean place, free tea and coffee all day. Breakfast included in the room rate.
Got a swimming pool, Cafe serves light meals, very well equipped self catering kitchen, tour office and free walking tour of Windhoek everyday.
Good location, in a quiet neighborhood and close to supermarket and ATM.
Camping N$150, Dorm N$220.
