Latest Check-Ins

Free campsite that is 20 mins from Invermere.
Road has recently been graded so is nice and smooth and easy to get to the lake.
Pit toilets, nice sites and quiet.
Stunning views

Report Check-In

Road open now, wildfire over. I haven’t been over to check it out yet

Report Check-In

Closed due to wildfires nearby. Arrived at checkpoint and had to do a 15 point turn to turn around

Report Check-In

Drove in after dark, the road was pretty bumpy but fine if you take it slow. There were a few other campers and a great view of the stars.

Could use a little love, but it was quiet and I would camp here again.

Report Check-In

Would NOT camp here. Not only is it super dusty, but it has been really abused. Never seen a more unkept abused Rec Site. Very sad to see the vandalism and lack of respect here. Very old and new trash everywhere.
Views were nice that’s about it. I’m all for target practice but not at a Rec site, plenty evidence of fire arms being used here. ;(. Shameful.

Beautiful little BC Provincial camp spot with about 3 official spots with fire pit and table but several non designated spots close by. Nice small lake and very quiet. Two clean pit toilets.

Report Check-In

BC Forest Service Recreation Site. So some maintenance, but no fee - here. Two pit toilets, both quite clean. Two other campers last night, and it looks like two different campers tonight - so, some company. The road in is fine - just take your time.

A nice 2.2 km hike around the lake. Nice forest and mountain views.

CBC at 94.5.

Report Check-In

Exactly as described. We have a high clearance, 2WD van and made it around the lake. Was spicy though and included some deep water crossings. We had the entire lake to ourselves.

Awesome lake with free camping, roads are in
decent enough condition for most vehicles to make it in to the main campsite. If you have a truck or 4wd there are roads so that you can camp at any position around the lake.

Report Check-In

If you have ground clearance, you can find cool spots all around the lake !

Report Check-In

Great free site! Minutes from invermere. 3 sites but multiple rando fire pits.
Loaded 2wd odyssey made er just fine, took it slow though.

Report Check-In

Nice free site, would recommend. Toilets and fire pits.

Report Check-In

Nice site, except it was incredibly crowded when we were there. Little privacy, and lots of people playing loud music late into the night. It was also Canada Day weekend so that might play a part.
Road around the lake is rough, I did it with a pickup truck with a camper and a stock truck should be fine.
Had barely usable Verizon/Tellus signal with a WeBoost.

Report Check-In

beautiful spot right by the lake.
Road is pretty rough, need a high clearance vehicle to get there but it is completely free!
