Description

Very big gravel area next to a nice lake. The road is nearby so is a bit noisy. Easy access. Another RV was there.

Latest Check-Ins

Rough road coming in with a lot of pot holes. Nice and private hidden from the main road but can occasionally hear a truck roll past.

5 other vehicles here when I pulled in at 11pm. Still room for another 5 or 6.

Be careful of broken glass in the ground. Walk your spot before letting pets out as there was a ton of broken glass around where I parked.

Good for a night.

Good spot. Highway noise is minimal while sleeping in car. Just me, the beavers, and the mosquitos here on a Thursday night. Super bumpy road in from the highway.

Report Check-In

at night it is a very quiet place. the driveway is a little bumpy. the road nearby is very busy during the day. we could sit outside for a long time. there weren't too many mosquitoes. There are 5 bears in the area who also visit the site from time to time in the evening.

Stopped here on Canada day was a bit worried it would be a party but it was surprisingly quiet a few people around very friendly. There has been a obvious effort to clean this place up so make sure you are respectful!

lot of room, no to far from the main road but not to much noise. a lot of mosquitos. good for a night.

Report Check-In

Stayed here just for a night. Beautiful spot with lots of room, but previous people had left fire pits and a lot of garbage laying around which was sad.

Report Check-In

Nice big gravel area. We had a quiet night with nobody else around. Some mosquitoes in the evening but they didn’t care about us.

Report Check-In

Stayed one night and it was fairly quiet just few ATVs and dirt bikes heading out in the morning but a great little stop over spot. Was clean.

Report Check-In

Stayed one night, to the left of the large gravel near a fire pit. Lots of “tp” scattered about. A junked boat on the side of the road near the entrance to the gravel area and a burned out vehicle seen from a side road to the entrance. This place could be a lot nicer. Just didn’t seem inviting enough to hang outside my campervan. There were 2 long-term campers there. Some road noise. 2 bars LTE. My comfort zone was fine, others might not be.

Report Check-In

The turn off for the road down to the lake is unsigned and south off Hwy 16. Loads of room and only a handful of other RVs. Definitely some car/truck noise from the highway above but not particularly bothersome. Lake is small and a bit groady. Lots of mosquitoes at dusk.

nice location next to a lake with ducks and even a beaver! there were some mosquitoes but nothing the ThermaCELL couldn't handle. lots of nails around parking area so be careful. Quiet with decent cell signal.

Report Check-In

OK for the night, close to the road and some other RVs here

Report Check-In

We had a very peaceful night here with a nice view. Road not noisy at all really.

Report Check-In

Sehr sehr viele Schlaglöcher auf den ersten 500 m, dann nur ATVs, Enduros, laute Musik und einfach nur voll, da flüchten unbeteiligte sofort

Report Check-In

Good spot for a night, nothing overly cozy. Trailers with generators were here and a local called it 'the party lake'.

gravel lot on a pretty little lake. close to the hwy so a little bit of traffic noise

Report Check-In

Stayed there for a night with our minivan. Three huge RVs and a couple of camper vans were there. Nice place, huge gravel/dirt area. Seems popular for quads but pretty calm in the night. Don't miss a bit hidden turn.

Report Check-In

Early season camping trip so still some snow. Short distance off the highway, road has some potholes but slow and steady wins the race. Shared with 2 other folks with lots of room to spare. Some noise from the highway but nothing major in our opinion. Great view of the lake.

Report Check-In

We didn’t go all the way to the lake-too muddy-but we got far enough away from the road to let the dogs out and that’s what we Is isn’t the easiest option if you are northbound however.

Report Check-In

There is lots of easy accessible space and some steep spaces for several cars, beside a small pond. No facilities. Some noise from the street. No special view. Telus 3bars.

Report Check-In

Great place. Any size Rig. Space for as many rigs as any RV park around with very level spots.
Beware of the mosquitoes if you park near the lake like we did.
