Latest Check-Ins

As discribed, way done to fireplace a bit bumpie. Some freedom under car necessary. Beautiful. Access to beach available. 2bars with rogers.

Report Check-In

Couple other vehicles here. On a small ridge just above the beautiful rocky shoreline. Beach access, fairly private. Road in is a bit rocky but we did it in a smaller vehicle just fine.

Simplement Woww
Après 19h la circulation diminue beaucoup!

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

As described. There were 3 of us here last night. Plenty of space, no one bothered us.

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

Magnifique endroit!

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

Not sure if it is private. No signs etc but a locked door in a fence north end and private house and garden towards the beach. Not a flat surface for RVs… We will continue the tour.

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

Exactly as described. In off-season not a soul anywhere nearby. You can hear the ocean waves.

Report Check-In

Just adding some photos. To show some changes to the area.

Report Check-In

Nice spot for the night. Relatively quiet, enough that you can let the ocean lull you to sleep. It has definitely changed alot since some of the photos. The road to the beach is gated and an excavation is underway adjacent to the parking area. To get to the beach you need to go down a steep hill or squeeze between the gate to get to a roadway.

Report Check-In

Perfection. Endless dead wood to burn. Falling asleep to the sound of ocean waves. If it was for sale, we’d buy it and stay forever.

Report Check-In

Absoute gem of a place - definitely wanted to stay longer! We went down to the grassy spot in our extended sprinter without any problems (just a bit bumpy). It seems to you can no longer drive right down to the beach since the hurricane.

Report Check-In

Nice spot overlooking ocean. Several options for parking. One other van here when we arrived.

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

Great spot. Steep approach. One other van here as I arrived.

Report Check-In

I visited in a Jeep Wrangler and drove out onto the beach and had it all to myself. 4x4 is definitely required to drive on the beach. It was completely quiet in the night and the stars were magnificent! Such an amazing spot! There was 2 bars Telus cell service

Report Check-In

wonderful place... animals, tents, beach, swimming allowed

Report Check-In

Fantastic spot, room for up to 10 vehicles along the entrance road and clearing, and plenty of room on the beach (you will need decent clearance and 4x4 to get off the beach in the am). Great views and plenty of spots for a fire.

Report Check-In

Totally worth it! Beautiful, quiet. We even saw a seal in the ocean early morning. We stayed here with our camper van. But there were peiple in motorcycle with tents.. might not reccomend anhthing bigger ghan 23ft as there is a bumpy gravel and dirt road.

Remember to pick up after yourselves and never leave a trace (:

Report Check-In

beautiful spot right off Cabot Trail and just up from the water. We arrived around Midnight and parked in the Gravel area in a semi level spot. We woke up to a beautiful view and we’re able to see the area much better. As others have said, the area a little further to the right down the path is the top spot here. Right above the beach, established fire ring and a big faraway area. Glad we didn’t venture down there as there were a few RVs parked. Any spot here is amazing, and the sounds of the ocean made it so easy to fall asleep!

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

We stayed at the lower grassy site for the night. You could barely hear the highway traffic over the waves. It was a lovey place to spend the night. The trail leading down to the grassy area is a bit rough and I would not recommend taking a trailer down there >20 feet long. Verify that your rig has enough clearance and that the area is not occupied before proceeding. We camped there in a T@b 320 boondock towed by a RAM 1500. We had no issues turning around in there or clearing the ruts in the road.

The gravel area is nice too but might be tricky to manoeuvre if there are vehicles parked in there or if you have a bigger rig.

Report Check-In

Fantastic spot. Perfect for my mini van. Echo what others said about going slow on the path in. Exactly what you hope for when travelling this way.

Report Check-In

I love this spot! Easy to find. Just important to drive slowly, and clean up after yourself!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼💛

Report Check-In

Gorgeous! Lots of privacy. Please clean up after yourself!!

Report Check-In

Beautiful spot - as you pull in and look towards the water, you will see a fence and locked gate on your left. If you go to the right and continue down past the gravel area, you will see where people have driven down to the grassy area. Just take it slow. There are some exposed rocks but as people have said, a nice grassy area. Very private and a short walk down to the rocky beach and you are on the ocean. Unfortunately some people have left litter down by the beach. We all need to leave these gems in pristine condition so we can all enjoy them. A little piece of heaven for sure! Highly recommend

Report Check-In

This place was awesome, we parked in a spot just before the drive dips down to the beach. Very quiet, despite the nearby highway, and beautiful sunrise.

Report Check-In

Incredible place. Quite large as others have mentioned, drove down past the the first lot into the grassy area for a more secluded spot. We stayed during the week and there was only one other van there which was parked further down towards the beach. Beach is just steps away. Please keep it beautiful and take all garbage with you :)

Report Check-In

Tented here on a Sat night. There were a couple other campers but the view on the rocky beach was amazing! Road was not too busy either.

Report Check-In

Beautiful place. Two other campers where already there. We stayed on the upper section and it was still really beautiful and quiet.

Report Check-In

Stayed one night, sat on the cobblestone beach wonderful feeling. Our Roadtrek had no problem going down to the nicer camping area, just take it easy.

Report Check-In

Nice seaside spot. Definitely take the bumpy path on the right down to the flat and more secluded spot with fire pit and easy beach access.

Land is likely owned by the neighbouring power company (?)

Report Check-In

Road could be noisy but was ok for us. Great view!

Report Check-In

Wonderful place to camp, we only stayed there for one night but wish we could have stayed longer. It’s a bit of a sudden turn off but if you follow the link in the app it will take you right to the place so just slow down a bit before so you can safely turn,
Gravel path is a bit bumpy but we made it down easily in a E150!
Few other campers but they all stayed right near the entrance, definitely worth the effort of driving down the gravel path for a much nicer camping experience.
We feel asleep to the sound of the ocean and it was amazing!

Report Check-In

Lovely little spot, make sure you drive down the gravel road to the right when you turn in from the road as you come to a great level grass area with a couple of fire pits. Hidden from the trees and you can take a nice walk down the beach.

Report Check-In

Good spot. Great views. Close to the road but separated by trees. Easy access. If you keep driving past the gravel lot, you come to a much better spot which is grassy and flat. It connects with another access point from the highway which is blocked off with boulders. take from that what you will.

Report Check-In

Gravel place from construction site, 30 m from Street, directly on a cliff. Nice view and “Stones for throwing“. :)
