Great place to stay. Plenty of shade and places to set up!

Gorgeous area! I just called the number provided, and they said I was good to go. The woman said there's another park about 20mins away called Rush River and one more called Clear Lake about an hour away. Lots of mosquitoes as previously mentioned, but beautiful area!

Great spot! Was nervous this was still going to be available since the last postings were two years ago but this was awesome! Lots of flat, clean space with high trees and corn. Two toilets and fire pits throughout. SO MANY masquitos which was tough but overall a great spot. All you have to do is call the sheriff and give them your info and you’re good to go. Highly recommend!

We got in very late on a rainy day... mud fest - if it were dry this place would have been awesome. Still give it 4 stars , there are horse trails : great for hiking, biking and walking the dog

Sibley County High Island Park one hour southwest from Minneapolis. Nice little park with trees in the country...in the middle of corn fields. Quiet. Well maintained. Free.
Must call Sibley County Sheriff to register...they just ask for name and license plate. 507-237-4330.
