Border crossing without problem. We exchanged money in Uzbekistan to go to Kyrgyzstan. The Uzbek customs officer was very kind. Control of some luggage of the bicycles with X-rays. Request for registration but we did not understand why. We were able to pass without (European passport). Passage to Kyrgyzstan without problem, without control. Continue 100m to get a sim card: Beeline or Megacom (we chose Megacom).

Registration of stay
For any stay longer than 72 hours, it is necessary to register with the OVIR (the Department of Visas and Registration).
Registration is carried out either by the guest (for private visas and business visas), or, during a stay in a hotel, by the administration of the establishment.

As said, this is a pedestrian crossing, bicycle as well. No vehicle.
We did Uz->Kyz.
Took us 30min as there are a lot of people crossing.
Were scanned on Uz side (as usual) and nothing on Kyz side (though we heard they can be touchy with UK passport holders).
There are SIM cards company on the Kyz side and an ATM 3 Kms further on the road.

We were not asked for registration in Uz.

Very nice border crossing after all.

We passed the border on the 30/08/19 and hitchhiked on the Kyrgyz side.
The taxi ride from Andijan costs 30000som.
We changed money in the street on the uzbek side and the guy did the international rate.
The border is only for pedestrians and cyclists!

This border is closed for motor vehicles but pedestrian and bikes can cross the border here.

Open by foot without any problem but closed for cars. Very crowded

This border crossing is for locals only. No international border crossing. One has to drive to Osh.
