Spring outside Helena, Montana | Water

Can confirm that the spring runs in winter. Super fresh tasting, looks like the locals come to fill up jugs pretty frequently. Signs on the highway indicating where it is so it's hard to miss. Easier to pull in going westbound, but not impossible to get to it from the east.

On the right side of the road when you’re headed west out of Helena. Careful turning in from the other direction, traffic moves fast here.

amazing spring, great source of amazing water. would definitely recommend the stop. was running pretty strong when I got there ~5gpm

Best accessed when westbound on US-12. Decent sized pull-off

Per the local man that stopped by - this runs year-round and comes off the mountain. He drinks it at home. There isn't high pressure so it's slow to fill an RV tank. Threaded nozzle for a hose.

West side of McDonald Pass. Large enough pull-off for several cars or a big rig. Great water summer or winter.

Cold, delicious, took 25 gallons! there is a blue sign 1/4 mile before the pull-off.

This is a spring on the side of the highway that runs continuously and has a threaded nozzle. You can fill with amazing mountain spring water!
