$20. nice shady sites, fairly private. some of them are pull through. if you want wood you should buy it in town. pit toilets but they were some of the nicest I've seen.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
9 miles from Hoodsport, Washington on Highway 119, Forest Rd. 24 (all paved), 65 sites, max RV length 35 feet, no hookups, but nice picnic tables and fire ring with grill at each site, well-spaced and private. Potable water faucets, very clean (and non- smelly!) vault toilets and dumpsters. $20 ($10 with pass). NO Verizon signal, although I could get a signal high on the Upper Big Creek Loop Trail.
Trail heads for 1 mile Big Creek Trail Loop or Upper Trail additional 4 miles. Can hike with dogs (on leash), unlike National Parks, it’s a National Forest.
This was a beautiful campground and really enjoyed hiking Big Creek Trail. Would definitely visit here again.
Report Check-InOpen for the season, as of May 14. There are 40+ sites / 4 loops. The sites are close, but there is plenty of space to make it feel private. Lots of trees and foliage between sites, and many of the actual sites are fairly deep / back from the road. Clean bathrooms, water spigots (can't screw a hose on), dumpsters. No cell service (Verizon)—I picked up 1 bar LTE in areas, but it wasn't enough signal to access anything without a booster.
