Big open field with funny looking palm trees. Several pull outs from Saline Valley Rd. Nice views 360°! Super quiet. We stayed here for one night on our way out of Death Valley NP.

This is the famous Lee Flat, home to one of the best Joshua Tree forests, BTW, it's not an "open field" and they are not "funny looking palm trees"
Dispersed camping is permitted with DVNP entrance permit.
A level pull their spot just off the road in the middle of the Joshua trees.
Report Check-InNice open spot surrounded by Joshua Trees. Stayed for one night and it was really windy but quiet. This is within the national park and the ranger stopped to check our parks pass but he was super nice. Road getting here was almost as rough as hole in the rock road so it takes some time. No fires and be sure to pack out your trash/waste.
