Latest Check-Ins

Quiet location to sleep/rest. Stayed overnight, arrived about 8pm, only disruption was what sounded like a monster truck doing a couple donuts in the parking lot at 130am, then sped off back down the road at full throttle.
One other van stayed the night as well.
No issues in the morning, left by 8am.

Report Check-In

we stayed with no problem, but we're also a little unsure about the no camping sign that seemed to be more for the trail than about overnight parking in the parking lot.

Report Check-In

Nice big parking lot at the end of the side road. We were the only ones to stay here and it was empty when we woke up. To be fair we are visiting in the off season and it was hella cloudy so take that as it is. Good spot to stay if you are planning on hiking the area.

Report Check-In

Visited on a Thursday night, only stayed one night. No other cars or visitors. Nice mellow little trail along the dam to take evening and morning hikes. No phone service.

Report Check-In

quiet spot. stayed one night. small traffic coming through to see the overlook and trails. pit toilet was open but was pretty full, full stock on TP though. two others stayed the night with us. no problems

Report Check-In

good spot quiet no Verizon reception pit toilet

Report Check-In

Toilets are closed. Didn't stay the night, but checked out the spot. Not many cars

Report Check-In

A little hesitant at first after passing what looks like where the snowplows are stored.

Parking lot seems like it's just for the trail. For a rainy night in this area, we only had one other come and go promptly.

Pit toilet was open and clean. No other amenities, be self sufficient. Plenty of room for multiple vehicles. Though not all spots are level.

Report Check-In

Stayed 2 nights, before & after hiking Harry’s Ridge. Only had 1 other (different) vehicle each night. Lot is on a slight slant, most level spot is in far left hand corner. Used traction boards to level out van. Peaceful, quiet. Picked lots of blackberries all around the lot beginning to ripen start of Aug. No Att or Verizon service. Clean vault toilet. No other complaints.

Report Check-In

This was a great spot to stay the night. highly recommend. A couple people did stop by to walk their dogs, but it felt very private overall. Take the opportunity to walk up along the dam itself. some nice views, also a good spot to exercise. Totally alone in the morning.

Report Check-In

Great spot, easy to get to in a 30' RV. Nice trailhead with vault toilets (locked when we visited). No one else was there in the big gravel lot.

Report Check-In

Stayed for one night. A couple of cars came and went in the evening for the hiking trail located here to view the dam. No one bothered us though. As stated below there is a No Camping sign but I think it's referencing the hiking trail more than the trailhead parking lot.

Great place to
stay for the night in an RV. very quiet clean a beautiful hiking forest

Report Check-In

Big paved parking lot in the woods. No view - you have to hike the trail to the viewpoint. Pit toilets, big rig OK, not a pleasant place for tenters. Trash strewn around.

Report Check-In

Place as described. We stayed one night in our conversion van.
There is a no camping sing but it is not clear whether it is for the trail to the damn or the parking lot. We stayed with no problem.

no service with sprint.

Report Check-In

It will definatly be quiet as I am the only one here with 25' class C towing a car. Lots of room.
