Description

The Casino allows overnight RV parking in their lot. They just asked that we park at the back near the Travelodge. The location is a short walk to the locks if that's what you're in town to see.

Nice friendly and relatively small casino. Spent our pocket money and luck wasn't with us. Didn't try food, but had a courtesy soft drink. Stayed overnight in the adjacent car park in our RV. We asked permission at the members area and we were warned to move bikes inside the RV as its a sketchy area. Our bikes are cheap and weather-beaten and were there the next morning. Had a great night's sleep.

Checked with the security guard and he said parking in the back lot was fine. He did tell us to be sure to lock everything. Location is great for Agawa Canyon Train and there is a nice boardwalk along the river. Casino restaurant has appealing specials, although hours did not work for our schedule. Woke up to someone trying to open the sliding window on our van during the night, which we fortunately had blocked with a board. Would not stay here again due to that experience.

Nice level big parking lot. Just have to check in with the casino staff and they will tell you where to park for the night. Very quite, we had a good night sleep.

Perfect stop for a night. Plenty of room for any size Rv. Casino security guard recommend that we lock bikes to Rv or put in Rv. We locked them to bike rack and had no issues. Very quiet at nite! We would stay again.

Large lot, lots of room. I don't think security cares if you check in or not. Won my money back. Some food and breakfast options but closes at 9, and open 930 am. Nice boardwalk nearby for morning dog walk. The Breakfast Pig for brekkies instead!

Large and leveled parking lot. Just ask and "check in" at the Casinos desk. We also can recommend Gus's pizza, just a short walk from the parking lot. They have delicious and huge pizzas.

No one in the parking lot. Plenty of room, quiet. Thanks OLG

casino parking. went to the back like others. was woken up by someone trying to break into my car. seems there is some sketchy neighborhood problem. would not stay there again.

Very friendly Staff, But the bushes are very busy in the evening. We were 4 to enjoy the place for the night

Report Check-In

Great spot. Very quiet. Shared the large lot with two other campers. Supper at the casino was not the greatest, but the staff were wonderful. Would highly recommend staying here.

Report Check-In

Asked inside and the security officer said no problem. Very quiet. Well lit and level.

Report Check-In

Convenient place to park. Close to some biking trail near the locks. We went in the casino to ask security if we need to register our stay and his response was no, just make sure anything outside is locked. While we were sleeping, someone cut the straps off and cut the front of our bike covers, but the heavy duty locks must have deterred them from stealing them. The motor home beside us wasn’t as fortunate. Their cover was cut open too but their Thule cable lock was cut and their two bikes were stolen.

Report Check-In

Stayed here two nights. On the second night someone tried to steal our bikes off the back of our trailer. They'd cut the bike lock and some of the straps, then must have gotten spooked or decided it was too hard (we have several safety and stability straps attached).
Saw cops parked in the lot a couple of times, unfortunately none after we found the bikes.

Easy walk to the Soo Lock.

Report Check-In

As described, big parking lot clean and quiet. Another two campers together.

Report Check-In

Stayed one night. 2 other vans we there too.

Report Check-In

We stayed one night, no problem as described by others. Beautiful neighbourhood. Strongly recommending pay a visit to the Mill Steakhouse and Park Canada Sault Ste Marie Canal Historical site near the bridge to USA. Best skyline and night view of the city from the island.

Report Check-In

We rang and checked with reception asked if we could stay, they were very nice, said just park in the far car park and as long as you don’t bother anyone you are most welcome to stay for a few days.
So stayed for a few nights and went into the casino for dinner and drinks. Great spot.
Thanks Gateway OLG Casino.

Stopped here overnight, no probs, loads of room. Couple of other large rigs were here too. Town does have too much life but nice enough. We ate at Solo Trattoria Italian, very nice.

Report Check-In

Quite loud on a Friday night. Well lit and not bothered, so not terrible for a single night but if I were back here again going through the US I would probably try somewhere just over the border where there seem to be better possible options listed here.

Report Check-In

Large parking lot beside casino. And Ontario tourism information centre. The parking belongs to casino few others parking police came around didn’t bother anyone large park across street and canal

Report Check-In

Big parking lot, had a good undisturbed sleep. Campers and big rigs would be obvious but I can't see why they would disturb you. A lot of the same vehicles were still there when we woke up. Would stay again.
