Nice recreation site on a busy FSR. From the highway you have to drive 4 km on a gravel road , with livestock around (cattle). Then you come to a small recreation area with 5 sites on the lake. One pit-toilet. Newer dock.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Nice small lake with 5 campsites. Lots of daytime traffic to visit lake. nighttime quiet. a favorite spot with locals, some who leave their rv's for extended time. sites are level, have Picnic tables and fireplace. One pit toilet. nice path to the newer dock.
Report Check-InBeautiful small primitive campground right in the shore of the lake. 1pit toilet, picnic tables, fire rings. No potable water or trash receptacles. Pretty much a locals place. Get here early if you want a spot.
Report Check-Inin the high season everything is occupied by local long-term campers. some also leave their trailer for the week. and only use it on weekends. Pity.
otherwise clean, very nice location.
in der Hochsaison ist alles belegt mit einheimischen Dauercamper. einige lassen auch über der Woche ihren Trailer stehen. und nutzen diesen nur an den Wochenenden. schade.
ansonsten sauber, sehr schön gelegen.
Beautiful smaller lake, a new dock and a wide pathway ( maybe wheelchair accessible once completed) being created as I write this Sept/16/22 .Wheelchair accessible tables and the pit toilet is currently being renovated for access as well. Nice views here. Sadly some folks fail to understand exactly what “user maintained”means.
Caught a rainbows and multiple cutthroats from shore. So there’s that. Short but nice walking trails here. Distant noise from the train at times.
Cheers
Very open concept campground but beautiful and by the lake. Woken up by cows eating nearby, quite special!
Report Check-InThe place was full on this Wednesday afternoon in August with 5 sites occupied (with no less than 3 European vehicles). We stayed across the street in a pasture that appears to be an overflow for the campground, until the next morning, when we moved to one of the sites and spent a day in the sun.
Report Check-InLovely lakeside spot. Clean. Ample room. Very quiet and only 4 or 5 other campers. Clean washrooms with TP. Ok cell service. 4.5 out of 5 on our scale.
Report Check-Inwe were alone, super place, 1-2 good for big rigs, road is fine, last 500m potholes, but easy, quite, rogers very good
Report Check-InBeautiful spot right on the lake with ~6 spots with tables and fire pits plus a walk in out on the lake. Easy access on a good dirt road, few mosquitoes, but all the sites were full before sunset on a weekend.
Report Check-Ingravel road approx 5 km to camp sites. we took 30ft rv with tow car. it was slow going since the road wash like a washboard. once we arrived it was beautiful no one there and only one other car camper came in. amazing spot by the lake with fire pit and picnic table. the sunset was absolutely beautiful. nice and quiet a little traffic on the road but peaceful nights sleep, with amazing view to wake up to.
Report Check-InVery quite and remote spot. Saw a lynx while turning into the camping spot. Lots of mosquitos when I was there. Saw a local family fishing in the lake and saw some fish too. Would return.
Report Check-InNice recriation site in the middle of nowhere. From the highway you have to drive 5km on an gravel road trough an cattle pasture. Then you come to an small recriation Area with maybe 4-5 small sites on the lake. There is also a clean Pit-toilet.
