El Salvador
We tried to go to the « Beach Shack » iOverlander point on Thai road but we had to turn around more than half way trough cause there was super steep sections full of dirt and the road was closing on us. We recommend you go back to the main road and go via El Cuco.

Took this road heading north/west from the south/east on my small motorcycle (Honda 190) in Jan 2024. The part of the road in the “nature reserve” was totally fine but a small portion of the road after the reserve did get hilly with steep patches with lots of rocks and gravel, making some climbs a bit tricky. The tough bit was only about a mile, I think. Seems like it would be tough in a big heavy car!
Report Check-InDrove this road to Punta Mango. First half is OK with any car, second half not so much...
If you have high clearance and 4x4 (some muddy sections) it's OK. Any taller then 2,3m and you need to cut a lot of trees...
I made it. the last part was a narrow lane through the Forest. Dosen't loocks used offten. had to pull a big Tree aside with my winch. you'll need 4x4 wen wet. No big rigs
