Paraguay --> Argentina. I had a super easy crossing with my motorcycle there. You can forget the old buildings on the Paraguay side. They intelligently placed them all in one building on the Argentinian side. Jump the car que and park your motorbike right where the guys are inspecting the cars crossing. There are even dedicated Moto parking spot in the shade. Super cool!

Stamped out of Paraguay at one window. Into Argentina in the next. Handed in the TIP at a little camper and then new Argentina TIP in the air-conditioned office with a super nice younger guy with glasses that even spoke English. 100% great experience. Why can't all crossings be this simple?

Pro-tip:
Be a polite, respect their laws (like no food), and above all, be courteous gringo ambassador, and they will be courteous as well.

UPDATE.
Going to cross again tomorrow and will update if anything has changed.

paraguay > argentina. easy border crossing. friendly people. park the car, first 2 windows you do on foot for migraciones for both countries, then back in the car and go through for tip. Paraguay tip office has moved to the truck side, so just ask the Argentinians when they give you your new tip and they'll direct you. crossed with a dog and nobody asked to see any paperwork, which I assume is unusual. they did inspect the car, briefly, and insurance was definitely required. very quick, took maybe 30 minutes.

Argentina to Paraguay: while waiting in the car in a line of other cars we were stopped here to review our tip, title, registration, and passport of the driver. at this point the tip was taken, and not returned. cross the bridge and everything else was done on the other side.

We left Paraguay and entered Argentina. Everything is done at this place.
First windows are Migracion Paraguay (exit), second windows are Migracion Argentina (entry), then one window for Aduana Paraguay (exit) and then windows for AFIP Argentina (entry).
We made the DDJJ for entry Argentina and instead of a stamp in our passports we received eMails with our names, etc., duration of stay and a QR-Code.
At Migracion Argentina you have to go to the window with "Particular".
AFIP asked first for our insurance, then she had a quick look in our camper, after that they scanned our big rig.
In total it took 40 minutes.

Leaving Paraguay to go to Argentina. Thorough control of the vehicule with the assistance of a dog. They did not check for the diaries nor the fruits and vegetables, and all animal products.

Paraguay to Argentina: we had to return the TIP at the Paraguayan side. The rest as described here, all in one place. They will check for mandatory vehicle insurance so be sure to have that. They scanned our van and that took about 15 mins. A relatively easy border. We did not have vehicle insurance so it was a pain in the butt: we had to take a taxi to Clorinda to buy it and return to the border (getting the vehicle insurance took us about 3 hours). If you have vehicle insurance, it should be very easy though.

IMPORTANT: The office that sells "insurance" in the Paraguayan side, only sells to nacionales, not foreigners. The guy said it was just the carta verde but no coverage, and to us it did not feel right. Plus, he was asking for $140USD for it, and said he'd give us a paper copy that didn't look legitimate. So, be careful there. We felt it was worth it to go by taxi across the border to get the insurance in Clorinda. If you can do it before coming, that's even better. Best of luck.

Crossed the border from Paraguay to Argentina with two dogs.

For the dog, you just have to show a valid "certificado de inspection clinica y vacunation", nothing else. Then you have to pay AR$ 145 for each dog.

They check the vehicle insurance. If the insurance is not valid for any reason, you are not able to pass the border. In this case you can walk back over the bridge approx 200m, there is an office for insurance.

Right after the border you can change money for a really fair rate.

Nobody at the border checked our cars.

Easy process. Drive all the way to this office when you leave Paraguay and want to enter Argentina. The trucks are waiting for the scanner, when we passed the queue was over 2 km!

All 4 desks in one line.
Desk 1 is for exit stamp passport.
Desk 2 is for handing over the Paraguayan TIP. No exit stamp or prove received for exiting the country with the vehicle.
Desk 3 is for your entry passport stamp
Desk 4 is for the Argentina TIP. Park your vehicle here for a check. First process all information with the officer inside. Then outside is a check. We have a class C camper and had to go to the scanner, but we could skip the line.

We got 90 days TIP, all together it took us less than a hour.
