big flat spot by a big field. quiet. nothing special. ***6/23/21 informed that this lot is private property***
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
great place to stop for a night if you're planning on leaving early, we stayed 1 night & a pick up truck pulled by in the am asking if we needed something, apparently it is private property. but the woman in the truck said yeah you're not the first to stay here.
so, fine to stay i believe but just make yourselves sparse as soon as you're rested up.
Report Check-InNice spot for a night or two! Cell coverage is good and the road traffic is a non issue.
Report Check-InI checked out every other free spot from this app around Stockton, and this is by far the best place for an overnight. Nothing special about it, the title is a pretty solid description.
Also, what the previous poster said about traffic is true. There is a crazy amount of traffic at this intersection even after 10pm. Couldn’t begin to tell you why, it’s about a 15 minute drive from the closest town.
Report Check-InLiterally a big lot in the middle of nowhere. Works for me! Quiet, peaceful, free & I’m exhausted!
Report Check-InThis was a lifesaver in the middle of the night. Noisy- lots of traffic at this remote intersection for some reason. But did the trick during COVID when nearby parks were closed. If you’re looking for a place nearby- check out Comanche lake rd along the reservoir. There is a campsite but closed during COVID right now.
