To go to the campsite, you pass by the technic space, where trucks are revised and cleaned…
So, places in campsite are correct, shadow, water, electricity.
Nice pool, clear, food in the restaurant correct.
Nice view on River Zambese.
No lovelies places to spend good time for the camper, only chairs of restaurant .
15$/p, it’s a few expensive

Report Check-In

Always a pretty good campsite. Still the best in Livingstone. This time we were on site 5, which was nice and level. Your neighbors are quite close but everyone was quiet now. Water&electricity on every site, which is a plus. Good pool on campsite. Ablutions are pretty small and would need a bit upgrading. Lots of mosquitoes after dusk. We asked for a little discount for the price and got it. Friday Happy Hour at bar have decently priced drinks with nice views to Zambezi.

Report Check-In

We checked in, saw our campsite, and checked out. The place has a nice bar with beautiful views. but that's all. Not worth $15,- a night per person.

Opted for the nearby Three Torn at $10,- per night. Came back during the day for Happy Hours at Waterfront for cheap drinks during sunset.

Report Check-In

Always a great place for R&R. Great location on the Zambezi, fantastic facilities, bar, restaurant and swimming pool. Friendly staff and a great campsight

Report Check-In

We didn't realise there were pitches for 4x4 with tents and ended up staying in the tents they have setup. A very touristy and busy site. It's okay I guess but not what we were after and we moved on after a couple of nights. Also, lots of mosquitoes

Report Check-In

Always a winner. Have returned many times. $15pppn to camp. Depends how busy the camp is to how private the space is :0) some baboons but nice gardens, ok showers (hot water) two lovely pools and a fab waterfront restaurant/bar with the mist of the falls just in the distance. Out of town. Quiet to sleep unless overland trucks in. Good atmosphere.

Report Check-In

Amazing campsite from which explore Vic Falls and the Livingstone area. Great restaurant and bar on the river's edge.

Report Check-In

Beautiful campsite under large trees. Ablusions clean, hot showers, even a hairdryer for the ladies.

Braai with grid, water(non potable), light and power points at each Site.

Restaurant, swimming pool & boarding dock for Sundowner cruises in the Zambezi. $70 pp including snacks, drinks and a light Braai en route.

Camping fees: $15 pppn

Close to Livingstone airport were planes and helicopter flips over the Vic Falls depart & land.

Report Check-In

Very nice pool/ bar area with good wifi. Nice and shady spots. 15$ pp a night. Rafting: 140 +20$ pp

Report Check-In

Very organised campsite, with good ablution blocks and a pool.a lot of overland trucks come here. $15pppn. Electricity at each campsite.

Report Check-In

Campsites with fireplace, electricity and water (not drinkable), clean ablution with lots of mosquitoes. We paid 255pppn (not negotiable).
Nice bar and restaurant at the river with nice food.
Firewood is 50 Kwacha.

Report Check-In

As described before - a lot of mosquitos everywhere. The campsite was very full when we arrived, so we had to camp at one of the first spots when entering the Camp. Early in the morning they started washing their Safari cars next to us 🙈. All in all not very inviting but ok for a night. We could stay for 200 pppn after a bit of negotiating.
The view over the river from the restaurant is very nice!

Report Check-In

Nice waterfront bar and restaurant. Camp site unfortunatly not near the river. Asked for an overlander price and got a 10% discount

Report Check-In

Camp site is ok. Nothing special but good for a night. Water not drinkable, nice pool, good Wi-Fi in the bar. There is a pizza oven serving pizza on Wed/ Fri/ Sat/ Sun but we didnt realise until we had eaten so didn’t try them, but they looked delicious. We paid 650 Kw for 2 adults and 2 children after a bit of bartering .

Report Check-In

Waterfront as usual, same old place.
nothing has changed except the price increase

Report Check-In

The first night it was pretty crowded because a very large group had set up their tents. The second night there was almost nobody.
Many trees for shade. Many spots have water and electricity.
Swimmingpool at the campsite and the one at the reception are clean.

We paid 200 kwatcha pppn for our rooftoptents. Children half price.

Report Check-In

The campsite is oke, but with huge rain it was a mudpool on our campsite. Ablutions are a bit run down, shower is very hot or cold. Mixing to a stable temperature is not possible ... To me the campsite is a bit low priority to the lodge... But the swimming pool is nice, but a bit high in chlorine...
We paid $13,50 pppn and kids half price. They gave us 10% discount because we staid 3 nights.
Firewood was 70kwatcha.

The good thing was that someone could do small shopping at Shopright for 20k

The waterfront bar and restaurant are the real stars of the show here, the campsite less so. Camping spots appear to be a bit of an afterthought, and almost feel tucked away by the car park. Ablutions are ok. But on the whole, the place grew on us with its nice bar and deck, and clean swimming pools. We organised rafting with them which was expensive but extremely well run and well worth it from our perspective (though mind the crocs!).

Report Check-In

Good campsite with friendly staff, 2 swimming pools, 2 ablution blocks (charmless). Hippo and elefants may come into the site despite the fence. Very nice bar area and good food. written price was 200Kw pppn.

Report Check-In

perfect place. price per night officel 225 KW, stay minimum 3 night they give you good discount.

Report Check-In

We paid ZKW 210 / USD 10 per person per night here. It's very quiet here because of Covid-19. Restaurant not open, but take away. Hardly any tourists. Site 8 is a little more open and on the fence with the possibility of seeing elephants pass by.

Report Check-In

I've been here a few times over the years.
Has a restaurant which can be pricey.
As I camp and whats available is important, numerous hot showers are available after a long drive. The best spots are right at the end of the camping area.
The plus side to this place is the river waterfront which is great and you can have a nice cold beer or what ever you like and do a sundowner. oh, do come prepared as the mozzies will carry you away... the huge downside is the new price which is $14 or Kw250 pnpp, ask for discount otherwise it will bit into your budget fast, overall I'll give it 8/10
Pity about the constant helicopters flying around for sight seeing but it's a tourist sight seeing wonder.
A must see and do is visit the vic falls , all I can say is wow, I hit it just right, if you can see the mist from the bar area then you'll get wet but its really enjoyable, but you will only get wet if you want.

Report Check-In

Wow wow wow.... On the edge of the Zambezi. Awesome lodge with incredible campsite and restaurant. Best in Livingston. Super friendly and helpful staff.

Campsite is not in the bus car park, it is behind. Every site has its own braai, water tap and electricity on site. Pool is extraordinary clean. Shower is hot.
Rate is now 200 Kwacha p.P.

Report Check-In

5 star lodge, but 0 star camp!

Campsites are crammed together in the bus car park. No thought given to campers and it showed which is a shame as it’s such a lovely location.
We were going to stay here two nights, but left after one!

Report Check-In

I wasn't able to find this place.

Report Check-In

The campsite as such is not very nice. Be careful with aggressive Baboons. Showers hot and clean. 14 USD pppn. Nice deck and bar area with good food and drinks. If you are looking for a good place to have a sundowner and a meal this is the place. Lots of overlanders but it was very quiet at night. It seems also a lot of locals are coming here for food and drinks. The place is fenced.

Report Check-In

we stayed for three night, fasilities is good with hot water. It is very pricy, ka175pppn and there is loads of mosquitos.

Report Check-In

I wasn't able to find this place.

Report Check-In

Good camping sites. Decent toilets, showers. Lovely deck and restaurant area. Happy hour Wed & Fri nights good value. Lovely sunset cruises and place to book adventure activities.

Report Check-In

Camping site in Chobe Botswana. Close to start of the River Road CHobe National Park.

Report Check-In

This is a popular lodge and adventure centre (River Rafting and sunset cruises depart from here) that has some space for camping in the back. The space is nothing special but it is well equipped with braai stands, a sink, and power. The pool and ablutions are clean and we'll kept. The real treat of this place is hanging out by the bar and pool which overlook the beautiful Zambezi.

The price is USD14, which at the moment is ZMW170 ppn. So it is not cheap, but few things are in Livingstone. Bring your own firewood, as they wanted to charge us ZMW50 for a tiny bunch. We drove down the road and purchased 3x as much charcoal for ZMW40.

Report Check-In

Way to expensive to spent just a night. Almost 30 USD. We went to another campsite nearby and payed 100 kwacha pppn which is 16 USD. See other place nearby.

Report Check-In

This place is great! Pool, view from bar, happy hour, ablutions, pitches were all brilliant and well worth the money. $14pppn.

Report Check-In

Extremely clean pool, nice bars on river side, clean ablutions, shade and convenient shuttle into town or to waterfalls. Wifi didn’t work too well and many mosquitos and ants. But comfortable campsite all in all.

Report Check-In

Nice campsite with great clean facilities, braai and wash up area at each side, enjoyed the pool! Price negotiation was very strange. First they wanted 14$pp. We asked for a discount but this was not possible. The next day we suddenly got some money back, so we essentially paid $10pp. Apparently the manager changed his mind?! Although it was weird, not complaining of course. We did complain about one of the security guards. This guy was hanging around our side (like 1m away), staring at us and even asking for ‘anything we could miss’ and looking into our dumpster. We spoke with the reception about this and they did take care of it, the guy did not bother us anymore. All in all, not sure if we would stay again.

Report Check-In

Nice shady campsite with great facilities and lots of overlanders but its nice to have some people to talk to on the side of the pool! Free wifi and Kw150 per person

Report Check-In

Very neat campsite with grass and well shaded – just be aware of the monkeys. Clean ablution facilities with hot water. We paid 135 ZMW per person. WIFI available at Reception and Bar with good speed. Lots of air activities due to the falls and might disturb some people. Nice view over the Zambezi to have a sun-downer.

Report Check-In

Noisy music from bar next door.
Constant aircraft and helicopter noise during the day.
Good hot, clean showers.
Quite busy, cramped and depressing.

Report Check-In

Verry nice camp site with clean ablution facilities
Charged $15 pppn

Report Check-In

Nice shaded place also for truckcamper. The places have a water supply, grill and electricity for the car. Bar and restaurant with view to the river. A nice pool area. The stuff are very friendly.

Report Check-In

Please note that this is big rig friendly, lots of room!!! Nice pool, good ablutions, bar and food is good but quite expensive, staff very helpful and friendly. Ended up staying for a week in the end, it's a nice place that is well run and looked after

Report Check-In

Nice. Good location. Simple tents and camping area.

Report Check-In

Did not stay, much to expensive $13pP over 10 years, above the half

Report Check-In

Good campsite located behind busy lodge. Lots of overlanders and trucks. Very loud music from next door hotel or bar close to campsite until early hours. Great location for bar and restaurant on the river. Sites have bbq, electricity and water. Campsites can take trucks or roof top tents.

Report Check-In

Camped here for a night, it was a great campsite! Popular with tour groups too, but the trees and layout make you feel secluded. Electric fence around the area to keep the large animals out. Lots of aggressive monkeys:) ablutions were clean with hot water, great view from the bar over the river. The area is wild and great! Highly recommend it. Electricity, braai and wash area in each campsite.

Report Check-In

Really lovely campsite, each pitch is large with electricity, BBQ and a sink. Facilities are fantastic, always hot water and clean. The pool is well kept and next to the camp site. Bar is quite pricey but they have happy hour every Wednesday and Friday evening. Food is good (pizza especially!). Staff are very friendly and you can book excursions etc from the lodge. Camping is $12 per person per night.. Expensive but not compared to other camp spots in Livingstone.
