FREE. First Come First Serve. 7 day max. Approximately 10 spots. Only three spots were taken on a Monday night. Nice spot along a little body of water.

Pack in pack out. Most sites have a picnic table and fire pit. No amenities other than one pit toilet.

A total gem! Had the place to ourself on a Monday night. Great place for a night or several. Didn't have time to fish but nice little lake and close to Yellowstone River.

Report Check-In

Really lovely and quiet spot. Watched the thunderstorms roll by in the distance this evening. The campsite is clean with a nice view of the water. Nobody else but our crew here.

A very nice little gem not far off I-94 at all. We backed our truck right up and chilled out. Met some very nice people and my dog was able to take a swim after bring in the truck all day. definitely recommend...there are flies but saw no ticks this time of year

Wonderful, quiet and easy to get to from the interstate which you really can't hear at all. There is a train but it's not bad. What's bad are the ticks. Took the dogs for a walk on the mown paths through the tall grass around the campground and I've pulled 3 off myself already...just be aware. It's a lovely free campground, even has a horseshoe game area at the site we're at along with a picnic table and firepit. Generous spots, only about half of the 6-8 sites are filed on a Monday, I can see it might be a bit busier on weekends as it is a fishing pond just off the Yellowstone river. Excellent Verizon signal too.

Report Check-In

decent spot but beware of ticks everywhere. they are literally crawling all over the ground and on anything we placed outside. we wont be back.

Report Check-In

Great quiet spot. I had enough service to host 5 hours of teams meetings in Europe. AT&T.
Went for a run to the river and hung out next to the campfire and lake.
Nice stocked pit toilet too.

Report Check-In

As described by previous visitors. Quiet, clean and calm.

Report Check-In

This is a really nice spot, but it is not quiet like others have mentioned. There is some freeway noise, which is manageable, but there are train tracks right by this place. I had at least 10 trains go by throughout the night. You’re so close you can feel the ground shake, hear the squeaky wheels and the loud horns. Ear plugs were necessary.

Report Check-In

Large area. Room for big rigs. Areas for tenting. Only houseflies this time of year. Pit toilets. Horseshoe pit. Hiking trails. I’d come again

Report Check-In

designated campsites, free. around a very small lake. I've never seen so many bugs in my life. the ground was covered in crickets, there were biting flies, regular flies and tons of mosquitoes. we were also there during a triple digit heat wave so it possible we just had a bad experience.

Report Check-In

Easy access right off the highway. Not ideal for tent camping. Trains come through and you could hear highway noise.

Well kept site tho. No fees. Walking trails and fishing close to the campsites. Pit toilet was clean.

Pulled in at 6:30pm on Friday and got the last site.

Report Check-In

Nice quiet spot to stop for the night. I sleep in my Element but not sure if I’d camp here in a tent. I had my door open for maybe 3 minutes and TONS of bugs came in.

Report Check-In

Absolutely my favorite place for peace and quiet! Beautiful lake and I was lucky enough to get the best campsite on the lake.

Report Check-In

Nice little campground. 4spots have a lovely view of the pond. 4 others look into trees. Not very private, though. Pit toilet closed (due to covid?). 2 bars Verizon lte!

Report Check-In

Clean and inviting. A single loop with small pull offs. A toilet available. Quiet. We enjoyed it here.

Rosebud is a beautiful campground with multiple campsites along a beautiful fishing pond there’s lots of wildlife and historical markers along with I can feel well worth the pool over to stay for an eveningwalking trails wildlife

Report Check-In

Beautiful free campground with women sites wildlife a great fishing pond and walking trails couldn’t ask for anything more!

Report Check-In

Good road/access. Bugs bad, but I think they would be anywhere. One other camper there, felt fairly safe. Clean campground. One pit toilet. Pull through spots. Good for one night or if weather not so hot/buggy.

Report Check-In

Lovely little location! The original description doesn’t do it justice (but thank you for this little gem!)
About 10 different campsites with their own bench and bbq pit next to a fishing lake. Really clean & quiet. If you want to stay out of a city but need to stay overnight somewhere, this is perfect! Best thing of all,the whole campsite is FREE. No fresh running water & pit toilets but you’re amongst trees and greenery.
