Nice place for one night, there is a lot of trees. It’s on the road to thé Folly beach.

Report Check-In

Stayed at this walmart for a total of 4 nights. Even used the parking lot to install our solar panels. Local PD showed up on night 2 and said it's fine to park here, but there was a group of homeless that were recently kicked out and now lives in the brush next to Wal-Mart. They told us not to leave anything outside because it might not be there in the morning. The cops were awesome and had extra patrols overnight to watch the area. Overall great location.

Have been staying here throughout the summer surfing at folly. Always other rugs around in the back of the lot. Never any issues!

Report Check-In

Threats left on someone's vehicle to tow and legally trespass. Not a friendly place to stay anymore apparently.

Report Check-In

Quiet. Other vans and an RV there. No problems.

Report Check-In

Stayed here a total of three nights. Awesome place. Quite and safe. Only negative was bathrooms were out of order the last two days. So went to Publix to use the restroom.
Make sure you go to Folly Beach! Best surfing in South Carolina! Remind me of coco beach, FL.

Great night spent at this Walmart. Checked in at customer service and they said it was fine just park way out in back by some storage containers. Very quiet as far as Walmarts go. Would definitely stay again if ever in the area

A folly beach city police officer directed me here after I was turned away from parking on Artic Avenue overnight. You used to be able to park there and on all of the streets perpendicular to the road but not anymore. He said it would be a $500 fine if you car camped. I stayed the night at the Walmart at folly with no problems but as I was getting ready to leave for the beach, Walmart security told me that parking is prohibited here. They only let you stay “one night or so”. I got the vibe that they are cracking down on van lifers and they aren’t welcome. Stay at your own risk.

Report Check-In

Stayed the night with a few other cars and a van. No issues. Lot as described.

Report Check-In

the camping area was spacious, quiet and clean. We stayed 1 night. This walmart has a water refill dispenser and it is in the water aisle.

Above average Walmart. 24hr bathrooms, additionally there is a clean port-a-potty in the "camping area". Quite a few campers and from the looks of it some locals. Quiet and out of the way parking area.

Report Check-In

Spent 3 nights. Very quiet. Far away from the building, near the forest. Some RVs and Vans too.

Report Check-In

Great Walmart lot with currently no signs prohibiting overnight parking. Some great shade areas throughout parking lot. This Walmart is also not busy at all. Very little parking lot traffic. Had a great night sleep

Report Check-In

One of the best Walmart parking lots ever. It’s quiet, lots of tree cover and areas that are tucked out of the way. Also, lots of other campers there.

Report Check-In

Nice place for overnight, very quiet, trees for shadow.
