Description
If you arrive during the day, a guy with a whistle will try to make you park before the portal. Don't listen to him and drive straight to the portal. Then negotiate with the guy at the entrance to let you in to sleep for one night.
He had us parked near the entrance because he was scared for us. But if you negotiate well enough, you may be able to sleep anywhere in the park. The guy is only scared because it's dark and wild dogs may come at night or in the morning.
We paid 10 somoni for one night and we had access to the nice toilets of the restaurant nearby (Istiqlol).
