I had a date shake here, really I just needed to use their wifi, but the shake was delicious. It cost 90 pesos and the woman who served me was super nice and we even had a laugh together.

This place is great! We had ice cream and a banana split, so good on a hot day. Service was excellent. The story about Edison, his family and the Baja 1000 is even better.

The date shakes and date pies were delicious, they also sold dates by the bag and had a selection of other ice creams. Previous reviews about masks don’t seem to apply anymore, a few locals came in without them and the woman working didn’t say anything.

Highly recommended by multiple friends - evidently it’s a favorite stop for people participating / chasing the BAJA 1000.

Sitting in here right now (no masks when seated) enjoying ice cream and a date shake. The dates are blended into and it’s much thinner than a DQ shake that the OP mentioned. The lady working there was super nice and everyone who came in for ice cream said hello.

Terrible costumer service! the owner start to scream at us because we didn't have a face mask 😷 you have to figured out how to eat ice cream with your mouth cover! Don't support crazy people like this 😠😠😠👎👎👎

Place is just Ok. Basic milk shakes. The date shakes are really more like Dairy Queen in the US, which ain’t a bad thing if you’re hunting that, but it was fairly low quality ice cream with a few dates mixed in.

There’s a date shake shop right near Joshua Tree that makes the shake out of dates, not ice cream, so that’s what I was hoping for since the town is full of them.

Nice little coffee, that sells local dates, date cakes, shakes and smoothies. Very friendly owner.
