Same experience as every other reviewer. It was convenient to have an electrical hookup with washrooms and showers nearby, however. Visitor Centre is close by and has comfy seats to hang around in when you can’t take the black flies anymore!

no service campsites area more spacious, nice bathroom, shower, dish washing, & trash.

It’s true that some of the sites are very crammed together. We booked no services on pitch number 48 where it was very quiet. If you require services you risk being in the much busier area.

As others have said the campsites are packed together. Apparently there was high water in 2015 and the lower campground (which shows as the campground in google maps) was closed. Now the drive through the campground is one way (one way in. Different way out). Restrooms near campsite 54 had one shower stall wash for men and women. Restrooms near campsite 40 had 3 showers in the women’s. That area, though open, was quieter when we were there. It is far from the playground. It is also further from the visitor center where there is free Wi-Fi. No password in 2023. Salmon Pools Trail was closed as they were repairing it.

Not as nice as the beach campground in Cabot Trail NP, but still worth the affordable price - just note that once the office closes you have to pay via cheque in a box like it's 1980 or via their janky AF website.

super hot nice showers and clean bathrooms, sites available both sheltered in trees or in the open. Dish washing sinks available. Not very many places to access the wifi.

You have to really watch when booking online as they say many sites fit trailers that really do not. The site we originally booked would have had our propane tanks less than a meter from our neighbours fire pit due to an offset length and how close widthwise the sites are. We were early enough in the year we were able to switch, but it might be worth calling for better info than the web booking provides.

Pretty disappointing campground for a National Park. After a week of boondocking, we were desperate for a shower, however, so we reserved a night here. Stayed in #99. Miserable little tiny space with ZERO privacy. Spot for tent was muddy, but thankfully we’re in a van. Shower was clean (I used it just after cleaning) but meager, and the shower house was unheated; temp inside and out was cold.
Would not stay here again.

Well established Park Canada campground. Access to hiking and MTB trails from the site. Salmon pond trail is currently partially closed (last 2 km) due to trail wash off.

Stayed here for two nights for free, the night they officially closed the campgrounds. Asked a few different people and they said I can camp there for free and the gates wouldn’t be locked but everything would be shut off. No showers or washrooms in the campground but the visitor center (which is about a three minute walk from the campground) has washrooms on the backside of it that are open 247 with flush toilets and sinks, and water fountain outside that was still working on October 29, not sure if they eventually shut it off, but I was told the washrooms were open all year. I had a good time, I was all alone in the campgrounds which was great. Not sure if I would have stayed there if it was still operating, almost 30$ a night and some of the spaces are pretty close together but I saw some that weren’t as close together too.

$25.50 for an unserviced site without firepit. It's not as nice as the other NP campgrounds we've been to, but we got a site between the trees. There's a lot of places without trees. There only seemed to be one toilet block open, with only 1 shower.
Lots of squirls and chipmunks. Bring mosquito spray. But still a nice place :)

One of the two campgrounds that are open year round in this NP. Washrooms with running water and a shelter with oven (the Ingonish CG had a nicer shelter). Stayed one night, very quiet except for the river.
