Nice big spot for any size rv and tent. Firepit dry toilet no water, close to lake. Very nice and quiet.

What a sweet find! Stayed at Dexter campground on a wednesday in April. There is a posting saying that it is free during off season ($20something during regular season, which I believe starts late may). I car camped and it was great. Big dirt lot, very close to the lake. It did get a bit windy, I can imagine it would be extra cold/windy in a tent, but there are some awesome established tent sites with sweet views of the lake. The bathrooms were open when I was there as well. Very calm, I was the only car there!
Report Check-InThis site is not free. It is $22 a night, a third vehicle is an additional $8. The host told us that the RVs stay in the parking lot, no picnic table or fire ring. Just a spot in the gravel lot. The tent area (fire ring and table) is on the gorgeous lake on a hill which gets windy.
Day use is $8. The host patrols so please pay your way. There are pit toilets and trash bins. These lakes are really pretty!
The campground has plenty of parking spots and it’s right on the lake.Very quite. It has no showers or running water and the $22 per night was a bit too much.Weak but usable T mobile signal and internet.
Report Check-InFree during the off season. Right in the lake however there is a hill where tent campers set up so RV’s won’t be able to see the entire lake from the parking spot.
Overall great but please note it’s in a bit of a valley so cell service is greatly diminished compared to the other sites up top.
Report Check-InPrice is $7 per night per vehicle. Also managed camp site close to highway so you can hear the cars pass constantly.
Has bathrooms, you can get ATT and Verizon signal here I don’t have tmobile so I can’t speak to it.
This is not a bad spot for 1-2nights but if ur doing anything longer there’s tons of better views in this area
Report Check-InThis place is not free anymore, they charge 20$ for a night.
Better go the the places up the mountain, much better view.
