Something not right?

Description

Nice camping place with little roofs for shade and rain cover. Toilets and cold shower, but sometimes they are locked for some reason. Place is directly in front of the ocean. We stayed one night and paid 8000c for 2p and a car with rooftop tent.
You can see many aras and really big lizards are in the trees.

Really loved this little town. It’s quiet and not overrun by tourists. There’s really fun surf and this camping is in a great location. It’s a pretty big lot and there are palapas and electricity. Facilities are basic but good. Drinking water available up the road a couple hundred meters by the soccer field.

Plenty of space and right next to beach. There was some coming and going from people staying in the cabanas close by but mostly it was quiet. We arrived on a Monday and facilities were quite dirty from the weekend - got cleaned then on Tuesday. Beach allows for long beach walks.

Report Check-In

Right at the beach, no fence. It was very busy (maybe because of the weekend?) with a lot of music in the evening. The facilities were basic and dirty.

Camping vlakbij mooi strand en zee. Er stonden al wat tentjes onder de afdakjes met elektriciteit. Sanitair ronduit smerig en tot diep in de nacht muziek van alle kanten. 8k colones voor 2 pers.

Nice little campsite opposite to the beach.

Toilet and shower facilities are basic but adequate. Each camp space has a shelter and electricity which is fab!

Came cycling (2 ppl). Paid 4000C/p/night. It's an open camping on the beach. You have all basic facilities (clean) + roof for tent with lamp and power outlets.

Nice grassy aera with some shade to camp. Toilets and showers are old and not cleaned while we stay. Direct on the beach. Scarlet macaws and many leguans.

Report Check-In

Nice place as described. Paid 4000 pppn. This camping is in front of the nicest section of this beach. Further west there is more debris at the edge of the beach, further east it is further away from restaurants etc.
Btw the restaurant Los Almendros is really good, not cheap but high quality food with housemade sauces.

Large grassy ground with palm and fruit trees right at the beach. Palapas/shelters to use when it rains or sun protection. Basic bathrooms. Cold showers, good pressure.
The owner Ceasar is very nice and likes to chat. He is trying to improve the campground day by day. C4000 pp/pn
Turtle release on the beach in season

A very nice place, good toilets, nice nog so cold shower, a lot of covered places. electricity on every tree. The owner takes a lot of time maintaining. Beach in front. Supermarkt and restaurants at walking distance. Go there!

Nice place just across from the beach. I came without a reservation and he was able to squeeze me on under a tree because I didn't need electricity. 4,000 calones per person per night. Toilets and cold showers and sinks to wash your dishes or clothes. Very crowded on weekends.
You get a wristband for security and bathroom/shower privileges.

We wanted to see turtles but there is no sanctuary here anymore. The only campground in esterilles is this one. No problem to park with our 24ft camper. Large square with grass. Electricity does not go everywhere, showering and toilet, as everywhere, very easy. Very nice beach. Quiet and safe

very nice place very clean with the beach

Report Check-In

nice beach front camping with basic services, showers, toilets, illumination and electricity. $8 per person per night.

Report Check-In

This is on a really nice beach but the entire campground is full of fire ants. The owner puts limited effort into this place. I’d recommend finding a free place to camp on the beach nearby instead and paying to use the bathrooms and showers on the beach instead.
