only way to describe this place is "HOME FROM HOME". Luke and Dannie are great hosts and always available to step in with advice and assistance. Best Restaurant in Kasane. Rooms very cozy. They also run a bush camp on Hunters Road (10km from Kasane) with 2 luxury tents, and 8 comfy tents. A common restaurant area, with pool. plus campsites with own ablutions over looking a waterhole.

Nice place, but absolutely not open to negotiating the price today. Fixed price for a double room is 1,520 pula. Seems a bit steep and we were surprised at the lack of flexibility given there are so few tourists here at the moment, but we tried a number of places in Kasanka today and all seemed to be around the same price and refusing to discount.

Cozy place next to the river, beautiful view. There is wifi and small pool. We booked our afternoon sunset boat cruise on the Chobe river here. The best boat we have seen on the river, not to big soo you can get closer tot he game. And not to small (max +/- 20 people) and a top deck to watch the game from more above . The manager, Luke, is very friendly and gave us some discount because we are a family of six, (6x P250 for the cruise and for 6xP75 park fee). We saw a lot of game, a group of 89 elephants,some hippo’s elephants swimming in the river, sable, crocodils.and a nice sunset.
The manager also gave us some good advance about the situation in Zimbabwe (buy 2 jerrycans for spare fuel at MotoVAC)

Perfect little home away from home. After over a week of camping, Old House was a lovely recharge for us. As our Landy had to stay a few days at a local mechanic, we were needed to find a place to stay, and after a few visits to other hotels in the area, we chose Old House for its charm, lovely feel and great hosts!

We highly recommend staying here, even if it just for one night. The rooms are spotless, beds are very comfortable and bathrooms are great.

In addition they have a resturant with great food, a lovely pool and kindly helped us organize a 2 day trip to Victoria falls, even coordinating a transfer for us.

They also kindly did our laundry, which in our 5 months of traveling have never been so clean.

Again if you are in the area we can't reccommend it enough. They originally asked for 1,400 pula but when we explained that was very much out of our price range and that we would be having meals in their restaurant and be doing atleast 2 loads of laundry with them, they kindly brought the price down to 900 pula per night with breakfast, which we thought was well worth it.

Very nice B&b next to the river, beautiful view and beautiful accommodations. Breakfast is good, there is wifi and obviously hot water, parking safe. They have 10rooms with A/C. The managers, Luke and his wife Daniel, are very good person. Here the contact 6252562
